Hampton by Hilton Shantou Railway Station

A big thank you to the helpful gentleman at the front desk who arranged my room. He was very attentive to guests' needs. He also thoughtfully warned me about the possibility of noisy fighter jets and advised me to keep the multi-layered windows closed. It wasn't an issue though; I did hear them briefly in the middle of the night, but it was just a faint sound, and I simply rolled over and went back to sleep, so it didn't disrupt my sleep at all. In terms of cleanliness and service, I've never been disappointed with Hampton by Hilton, no matter the city. The Shantou branch is excellent as well.

I really appreciated the hotel's 'sleep mode.' I'm not comfortable sleeping in complete darkness, and this mode provided just enough dim light so I didn't feel afraid sleeping alone. The pillows were also very comfortable, allowing me to get a great night's sleep after an exhausting day of exploring.

This Hampton Inn truly exceeded my expectations. While it's a bit of a distance from MixC Mall, Shantou isn't a massive city, and getting a taxi is always quick, making the location quite convenient overall. The room was spotless, the breakfast was delicious, and it was incredibly quiet at night thanks to their excellent double soundproofing. Really impressive.

The room was spotless, and the bed incredibly comfortable. Despite facing the road, the double-glazed windows provided superb soundproofing, and the blackout curtains were very effective. Breakfast, however, was a bit limited in variety and didn't quite measure up to other Hampton Inns I've experienced.

We were very pleased with our stay; my entire family found it exceptionally comfortable. The room was clean and tidy. The reception staff were very attentive and readily assisted with any needs. Overall, we were extremely satisfied. The hotel's central location made it incredibly convenient for getting around, and there were plenty of delicious local Shantou food options nearby.

The hotel is very close to the high-speed train station. Getting here from the airport was convenient; I took a shuttle bus and then a taxi. The only minor inconvenience is that you often have to navigate around an elevated highway to get to other destinations. The front desk staff were very polite and provided excellent service. Since I wasn't leaving particularly early, I spoke with them and they kindly allowed me a one-hour late check-out. The room was very clean. Compared to other Hampton Inns, the breakfast wasn't particularly extensive. One suggestion I have is that all the machine-dispensed drinks were ice-cold, which made them difficult to drink. The tea and small snacks available in the lobby were a very thoughtful touch and much appreciated. 👍
