Hotel Regency Shantou exceeded my expectations! The rooms are spacious, clean, and well-equipped with modern amenities. The staff is friendly and attentive, providing excellent service throughout my stay. The breakfast buffet offers a great selection of delicious food. Convenient location with easy access to the city. Highly recommended for a comfortable and enjoyable stay!

The hotel service truly exceeded our expectations. They proactively reached out before our check-in. We had mentioned in advance that it was our child's birthday on the day of arrival, and the hotel thoughtfully prepared a welcome gift, which added a wonderful special touch to our stay. The outdoor pool is also beautiful, and our little one had a fantastic time playing at the hotel for two whole days. Our room was impeccably clean and incredibly comfortable. The hotel's location is superb, being very close to MixC City, making it incredibly convenient for getting around. Our child absolutely loved their stay. The service is absolutely top-notch, surpassing that of many high-end hotels.

First off, the check-in process at the front desk was quite efficient. However, it's peak tourist season right now, so there were many families with kids, making it quite lively. Upon entering the room, the view from the window was excellent, thanks to the great natural light (we booked a room with a view). The bedding, bathroom, and carpet, etc., were clean and tidy (the tea set in the photos was our own). The hotel has a basement parking lot, a restaurant on the 2nd floor, and a gym, swimming pool, and spa on the 4th floor. The recreational facilities and dining options are also quite good. Oh, and we also received a welcome gift upon check-in – some local Shantou snacks (pictured in Fig. 2, Fig. 3). I didn't get photos of everything else this time, but I'll make sure to take more next time I stay. The only minor drawback is that there are very few EV charging stations in the ground floor parking lot, and they operate on a first-come, first-served basis. It would be great if the hotel could install more, given the growing number of electric vehicles these days. Finally, the hotel staff were very friendly and welcoming. It offers great value for money, boasts an excellent location, and is highly suitable for both business and leisure travelers.

Excellent location, walking distance to Longyan South Rd, the food street. Xiaogongyuan (Little Park) and other attractions within easy reach by taxi or DiDi. Staff are friendly and helpful, including sharing where to go, what to eat, when, etc. Hotel a bit dated but clean and comfortable. Shower over bath. Would recommend to other travellers

This was my second stay at this hotel, and the location is absolutely fantastic. Step out, and you'll find MixC Shopping Mall to your left and Longyan Food Street to your right, both just a few hundred meters away. Public transportation is incredibly convenient, with a bus stop right outside, making it easy to get around for dining and shopping. The service was excellent; during the summer holiday, the front desk staff even gave the kids a generous snack gift bag! The breakfast offers a wide variety of options, with both Chinese and Western dishes. They also serve the famous local Kway Teow Soup, and on regular days, there's even homemade 'Guo' (a type of local delicacy) prepared by an auntie. The pillows, mattress, and duvet were absolutely top-tier – so comfortable and just the right firmness! The complimentary plain congee in the evening was a thoughtful touch; after eating all sorts of rich foods during the day, a bowl of congee at night was incredibly soothing.

Staffs at the hotel (especially front desk 客服小奕) were really friendly, patience and all ready to help with our queries and requests. Travelling with a group of elderlies were made much easier thanks to them! We really enjoyed our stay there.There is also a Walmart and nice dim sum restaurant 福晋轩酒家(汕头店) nearby :)

This hotel was a great choice! The location is ideal—close to the mall, dining, and transport. The room was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully equipped with a complimentary eye mask, which made for a restful night’s sleep. Friendly staff and great amenities rounded out an excellent experience. Highly recommend!

I am very satisfied with my stay at the hotel. The location of the hotel is very good. The service of the lady at the front desk is very warm, generous and attentive. The environment is also good, transportation is convenient, and the room is very comfortable. Takeaway can also be delivered to the room, which is very convenient. The lobby is very beautiful. I will choose this hotel next time I travel, haha

The hotel location is convenient for food, shopping and moving around. Plenty of parking spaces right in front of the entrance. It's also convenient for taxi to pick up and bus stop also 100m away. The front desk receptionist are all very well train, I specially like the service of 丹丹&小蔡 who check us in, they were very patient to their guests, always displaying a smiling face, and also have us very good advise on where to go around town, excellent attitude for service industry. Shantou is good for us food and we decided to extend another night stay at the property, there 小张&小林 the other 2 receptionists who are very pleasant to deal with. We are very happy to pick up this hotel:) By the way, the air conditioning in the room is powerful, perfect for this extremely hot weather. The housekeeping ladies were very efficient too. Thumbs up!

It's not easy to get a taxi to the hotel. The room was comfortable overall but not very clean. There were hairs on the floor and some black stains on the bed. The hotel staff was polite and the extra large towels and drinks we requested were delivered quickly. The hotel includes breakfast but it is mediocre, with few varieties and not very attractive, so we walked to the vicinity of the hotel to eat rice rolls.  Summary: This hotel is just okay.
