There is a scenic shuttle bus near the entrance. Free parking for self-driving cars. There are 6 buildings in the hotel, and the hardware and software inside are different according to the time of construction. Building 1 is a national key cultural relics protection unit. It has received Chairman Mao and other important national leaders. Guests in the hotel can visit it for free; Building 3 is the main building, where you can dine here. The restaurant’s dishes are delicious and affordable. Shaoshan Hotel is the best accommodation choice for a trip to Shaoshan.

The environment of the hotel is good, just beside Shaoshan Mao Zedong Square. I live in Building No. 4, with average facilities, not many breakfast dishes, but it’s okay to have enough. In terms of transportation, Shaoshan is not convenient. From the South Railway Station to the Shaoshan Scenic Area, there are no buses and taxis cannot go. The reason for this is nothing to say.

In the scenic area, it is very convenient to go to the former residence and the memorial hall. The external environment is super comfortable and the scenery is pleasant. However, the interior decoration of the room is really slightly better than the level of the guest house, and the facilities are a bit outdated, and the smell is obvious [at least during May 1st]. There are several places to listen to the parking. You can park in front of the lobby and behind the building, and it's free. In addition, we were given tickets to Dishui Cave, but we only gave one...Breakfast is average, and you can’t expect it to be good. It’s the standard to get enough to eat. If you want to be close to the scenic spot, choose this place; if you want to live and eat better, Jianguo might be better.

The first building of the hotel was where Chairman Mao had stayed in Shaoshan that year. It is only free for guests of Shaoshan Hotel. A tour guide was invited at the front desk.
