Arrived at October 14th in the afternoon. Had to wait some time because at the airport they told us we didn’t need a visa, but if you go to the Thistlegorm, you do need it. Fady, our diving instructor took care of that so we could leave on time to the boat Freedom III to meet our friendly and helpful crew. We were with our own group of 8 and 2 extra divers travelling solo. We had a 4 day safari and really enjoyed the beautiful dives, good food, lots of fun with Fady and the crew. After we stayed 2 days in the Umbi hotel. The wooden cabins are very basic. Some are in need of renovation. The restaurant is a la carte and was good. For the price we payed we really enjoyed our trip with Umbi Sharks Bay Diving Club and Hotel. Left on October 21st.

Great week!! The first and last few days I stayed in the diving village: cosy, friendly staff, good food and a chill place to hang out. But my goal was: on a liveaboard here to see a lot of special dive sites. It were 5 amazing days on the Freedom III: amazing crew, great dive-sites (such as Dunraven, Thistlegorm, Ras Mohammed and Straits of Tiran) and Fady was a very nice, experienced and responsible man for the whole group. I'll come back to dive again!! ❤️

I booked a last minute holiday to the Umbi Sharks Diving Village with my friend. It was an exceptional holiday and by far my greatest diving experience! It was extremely cost effective and whilst the room was standard, the experience was superb! The staff at the complex were all friendly, kind and very professional. Fady (diving instructor) and the team were so very personable and treated my friend and I with such love and kindness! There is no doubt in my mind that I will be returning to this location for future holidays and bringing my family with me! I would certainly recommend this to anyone who is looking for a modest hotel with simple requirements but a beyond exceptional diving experience! Thank you to everyone for sharing in such a wonderful life experience!

I like the simplicity of this please.And the surfaces that they are providing by very nice people and kind employees what I like in this place The tent that's near to the city would give you a feeling that you are at home.

The trip was great, amazing divings with a great atmosphere. Karim and Mohamed are great dive masters and all the crew was helpful and attentive. Rooms are good and the amenities in the boat are clean and nice. It’s worth it the price and the experience!

-Come as a guest, leave as a friend - I can't possibly better describe the wonderful and unforgettable time I had here....the place is a little corner of paradise, people and stuff are welcoming, friendly and always there to help! I got my advanced scuba certification here with Emad - it was an experience that I will never forget, spending two days learning from him, loving the dives and the beauty of the Red Sea and just finding your people....Fadi and all the crew...you made this stay unique and a vacation I will never forget 🙏 thank you for all! Will be back!

This is now the 3rd time here scuba diving with UMBi. This time didn’t disappoint at all. Emailed ahead to book a couple days dives. Two boat days, one local north covering Ras Bob, Nasrani areas then local south towards Ras Mohammed covering Temple and Umm Sid, then a night dive the sharks bay. Always greeted with a warm welcome, lovely team there, met some other solo divers which was always great to do. Superb professionalism both on shore and on / in waters can’t wait to get back.

Exceptional , crew and fantastic guides. Maxmuut and Karim, what can I tell about them? Very expirenced with great knowledge.Karim is also a great dancer.The food was excellent. The Sef is a amazing guy. Thank you so much for the amazing experience guys.
