It was an incredibly wonderful holiday. First of all, it was our first time in Sharm, so I'd like to share some detailed information, and thanks to these reviews, I was able to decide on a hotel, and I'm glad I did. Sharm is a great place for a hotel holiday. It's surrounded by hotels like Antalya's Belek, and having a beach is an advantage. Other hotels have transfers, which means chasing shuttle times. Having a beach was a real plus. The sea was beautiful, allowing you to swim with colorful fish and avoid having to go on diving routes to explore the reefs. Special thanks to Ahmed at the beach bar. He prepared and served our drinks every day with incredible care and attention, and always helped us with his pleasant conversation and smiling face. Also, many thanks to Ahmed for making the sandwiches on the beach. Yes, half of Sharm is Ahmed, the other half is Muhammed. :) By the way, the entire staff was incredibly dedicated and friendly, thank you to everyone. The rooms need some maintenance, but I think the breakfast was adequate. The beds were firm, but strangely enough, I woke up feeling very rested and without back pain. The bathrooms could use a bit of updating. That's the only minor issue with the hotel. Of course, since cleanliness is more important to me than its newness, it didn't seem like a big deal. When I went to Sharma, I reviewed reviews of many hotels, and they all complained about the food, spices, etc., so we didn't go with high expectations. While we thought we'd be satisfied with the food, this was what surprised us the most. The food was incredibly good. Of course, there's also the added bonus that all the hotel's à la carte restaurants, except for Japanese cuisine, are available at no extra charge, with a reservation the evening before. The à la carte restaurants were incredible, so we ate à la carte all but one evening. We spent two evenings in particular on Lebanese cuisine, and it was beyond wonderful. The food is very close to Eastern Anatolian cuisine, and the chef is incredibly talented. You should definitely try it. A special thank you goes to Mohammed El Sayed at Lebanese Kitchen, whose smiling face, gentlemanly demeanor, and kindness made him so hospitable that we experienced a uniquely Lebanese flavor. I've never written a review this long, but we loved Sharm and the Egyptians' hospitality. I hope these comments are enlightening for you.
