"We had a great stay at the resort ! We checked in late at around 3am and the reception was still maned and greeted us. We were given our bracelet and cards and chauffeured to our room. Our room is big and so was the toilet. Everything we needed was there. Breakfast is served buffet style from 7-10am with a good variety of hot and cold food. We enjoyed their omelette bar ! We had the orange bracelet , which I think means only for breakfast. So not full inclusive although we could still get some drinks at the beach bars. They do sell alcohol at the bar for around 3 usd. They have their own private sunbathing, beach spots as well as a snorkelling (gear renting for 2 usd) spot! We were there in early September , the place is not so crowded and it’s as beautiful as the pictures from their page. We also went for spa at the property, a little pricey, 5K egp for two people which includes Turkish bath and body massage. Overall I think this resort is great for its price. It’s not a super calm resort, since it is family friendly with music and activities going on but you will still feel relaxed!"

"The resort is amazing. Very friendly staff (especially the chef who’s on the poolside during lunch and gives out big portions of meat during dinner!!), nice service and great location (10min walk from Soho Square). The rooms were also very clean and cleaned everyday. Food was great and with many many options to chose from (lunch and dinner were different everyday). I would say the only downside is that it doesn’t have many entertainment options. They only have a lame show every night, not a lot of music next to the pool or beach (only some old songs), and the beach is small but you do swim with fish since there are a lot of corals. They also have other stuff like a diving centre, parasailing, massages and safari tours (you need to pay extra for these). Overall we had a great stay, even extended with an extra day and I would definitely come back in the future!"

"First of all, I would like to thank the beautiful site from which I booked my vacation in Sharm El Sheikh. I would also like to thank all the staff at the Aurora Oriental Hotel for their warm reception since my arrival, especially Mr. Ali in the front office, who prepared my room in the shortest time, as well as the night manager, Mr. Yasser. During my stay, I met all the friendly staff in the restaurant, Ms. Yasser, the food and beverage manager, the chefs and workers, all of them are friendly, and the activities team on the beach are all excellent. "First I would like to say that I have stayed in this hotel 4 times previously and we love being there. This holiday was not the same. Upon arrival I was shown to my room that I paid extra for as it was a ground floor pool view. The room smelt of paint as it was just decorated recently. I explained I could not sleep in there with a baby with such a strong smell of paint. I was then given the option to be down graded to another room and after complaining to 3 managers I was upgraded to another room. Also we were not informed the hotel was under construction and was very noisy. The pool is right by the workers so you can hear drilling through out the day. I feel mislead as I was not informed of the work. I am disappointed in this trip and I won’t be staying there again due to the lack of professionalism by the management,"

"A decent hotel. Everything is new and functional, and the room matches the description. The grounds are extensive, with both pros and cons. The food is typical for Egypt – nothing ever changes. The alcohol is local. The hotel staff's attitude towards Russians is a bit better here, but the service is still lacking. We traveled independently and stayed at three different 5-star hotels; we recommend this one, but only if you've already decided on Egypt. It's not worth the money. We haven't been to Egypt in 10 years and don't know when we'll return, especially until their attitude towards Russian tourists improves. But if you're set on going, we do recommend this hotel. There are heated pools, a water park, and another pool is currently under construction. You won't go hungry; everyone will find something to snack on. The airport is 5 km away. Planes land nearby but aren't too bothersome. Enjoy your vacation!!!"

"Travelled with my mother and sister. We had to split between two part. Mother was in beach part and we were in Palm. These are two parts and one has to be very clear about it. Beach is better posher hence more expensive. Especially restaurant! Palm guests can not use Beach restaurant for free. It is 4$charge per meal per guest. Different colours ribbons…. Differentiate guests. Beach and bars and swimming pools could be shared. If one is after reefs and coral fish- forget it! Not the right location."

It’s truly one of the most beautiful hotels we’ve ever seen. What really sets this hotel apart is the staff. From the very first moment we arrived, every single team member went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. We were greeted with refreshing welcome drinks and offered lunch while we waited for our room. When we got to our room, we had an incredible view of both the pool and the beach—such a beautiful spot to relax. The staff at the restaurants were warm, friendly, and always made sure we were well taken care of. They remembered our drink preferences and were always genuinely excited to see us when we arrived. The team at the pool and beach bars went out of their way to make our experience even better, offering special drinks and assisting us whenever needed. It felt like they anticipated our needs before we even said a word, and that level of attention to detail truly made our stay memorable. One example that really stood out: I started to get a sore throat during our stay, and the staff at the buffet immediately made me a hot drink with ginger, lemon, and mint. They even sent some to our room for later. The next day, when we went to the pool, they already had my hot drink ready for me. Little gestures like this made all the difference and showed how much the staff cares. We became friends with the staff and were genuinely sad to leave them. They were not only incredibly professional but also seemed like real friends by the end of our stay. I booked a two-night stay, but left after one: it's at most a domestic four-star hotel (with the facilities of a fourth-tier city hotel), just a large rural apartment. If you don't have requirements for details and service (the service staff speaks poor English and is rude), you can come here if you want a lively place (the beach is shared by several hotels). The geographical location is basically surrounded by rural areas or construction sites. I don't know how Ctrip got a score of 4.7. For a price of more than 1,000 RMB, you can choose a five-star hotel near Soho Plaza with your eyes closed than this one. I stayed here for one night at Four Seasons and left immediately, and changed to a hotel of the same price, which was much better in terms of service, hardware, and location.

The breakfast and dinner variety are wide and the hotel vary some dishes on a daily basis. Food is okay. We had lunch at their seafood restaurant (a la carte) but we felt the food was not as good as those served in the common banquet hall for dinner. The massage was very good and price reasonable. The spa is not worth it as the facials we had were not the kind of facials we are used to. They were very basic and our faces were steamed for a good 15 mins! So hot and uncomfortable. Products used were claimed to be organic but we are not convinced what were used.

Многовато «политики» : наклейки с украинской символикой в общедоступных туалетах, названия блюд на украинском, при отсутсвии русского перевода.( может дело в персонале анимации?) Отталкивает небрежно сваленный строительный хлам из номеров, запах старой мебели и собственно старая мебель Плохо уходила вода в кране, не работал телевизор или пульт от него, сломан доводчик двери. Гостеприимством тут и не пахло. Когда был замечен «фонтанчик с черным дельфином» ( россияне поймут) - показалось символично ;)
