Great experience. Nice to be able to contact them directly by telephone - rather than go through an agency. Really friendly and approachable staff - a great asset! Spotless nicely furnished rooms and showers. Really quiet - slept well. Coffee, tea, biscuits, water and kettle in room. Hairdryer and good quality toiletries. The central heating worked well. Excellent food. Free parking on site. There are stairs up to the rooms - several flights, depending on which room you are allocated. This wasn't an issue for us but could be for someone elderly, frail or disabled. A very enjoyable stay. We will be back.

We have just returned from a weekend staying and eating at The Psalter to celebrate my Dad's 90th birthday. It could not have been better! We had a room for a party on Saturday lunchtime and a buffet lunch that was perfect. The food throughout the weekend was exceptional. Tom (the owner) designed a bespoke menu for us on Friday evening and we ate off the small plates menu on satuday evening, both of which were outstanding. My son's family have some complex allergies and Tom catered for these brilliantly. The service was amazing with a particular mention for Jonathan who looked after us morning, noon and night. I would recommend The Psalter for eating, sleeping and partying!

Really nice and incredibly friendly staff - it’s a lovely area of Sheffield near hunters bar and shareable where there are loads of nice pubs and restaurants

A good hotel please read
The only thing I would like to suggest is you put a memory foam on the beds .that was the only thing I found not right the beds were hard.

Great location for some of the best restaurants and entertainment in town. Nice and quiet neighbourhood. Very friendly staff, with decent rooms, although would benefit from air conditioning, since we roasted during the heatwave.
Great bar, with a very decent selection of cocktails to try!
