Shenyang Zhongjie Imperial Palace FONTOO Hotel

This stay exceeded my expectations. From the moment I checked in until checkout, I felt a meticulous and thoughtful touch. The room was clean, tidy, and comfortably laid out, with thoughtful details that added warmth, avoiding any overly commercial stiffness. The staff were gentle and polite, responding promptly without being intrusive, which made for a reassuring and relaxing stay. The environment was quiet and elegant, and the overall atmosphere was very healing. It's an experience I'd happily repeat and genuinely recommend.

The hotel's location is incredibly convenient: to the left is Liu Laogen Stage, directly opposite the Forbidden City, and the side features the departure point for study tour buses. Zhongjie Street is just diagonally across! The front desk service, room service, and breakfast were all excellent – warm and attentive. If I return to Shenyang, this will definitely be my first choice again.

This hotel is perfectly situated right outside the Forbidden City walls, in the heart of the city. It's just across a small street from the Liu Laogen Grand Stage, and within walking distance to popular attractions like the Forbidden City, Marshal Zhang's Mansion, and Middle Street. This saved us a lot of time avoiding traffic and travel. Right outside the door are highly-rated restaurants like Wang Houyuan and Xiao Dongge BBQ – those 'must-eat' spots from review apps. If there's a long queue, you can grab a number, head back to your room to relax, and then go down to eat when your number is called. It's incredibly convenient for dining, accommodation, and sightseeing. Although the hotel is small, it has all the amenities, and the breakfast offers both Chinese and Western options, including live cooking stations, which was very satisfying. Among hotels near tourist spots, this one offers excellent value for money.

There were so many tourists during Chinese New Year. The hotel's location is excellent, with attractions nearby that are mostly walkable, though a taxi might be more convenient. Driving could be a bit congested around here. The room size is generous, perfectly adequate, and comfortable enough for three people. It was really lively during Chinese New Year, and I loved this hotel. It has its own parking, which is very convenient, even if the spaces are limited.

The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic! It's right next to a shopping district and a metro station, making it incredibly convenient for shopping, dining, and entertainment. The room offers an amazing view, and you can see the city streetscape as soon as you open the curtains. The service was super prompt, which made our stay with a child so much easier. The hotel even provides kids' slippers and toiletries. All the staff were incredibly patient and proactively helped us with our luggage – truly excellent service! The room also has a desk, and the breakfast was really good. The room itself is spacious, bright, and gets plenty of natural light, with an unparalleled view from the window. The hotel also has a free laundry room and a gym. The staff were always available when called and had a super nice attitude. We had an incredibly comfortable and peaceful stay ❤️!

The room was spotless and tidy, and the bedding was soft and comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep thanks to the excellent soundproofing. The bathroom facilities were complete, with plenty of hot water, and the toiletries were of high quality. The common areas were tastefully decorated, creating a quiet and comfortable atmosphere, and the elevators operated smoothly. The breakfast selection was extensive, offering both Chinese and Western options, all fresh and delicious – I left feeling very satisfied. This hotel offers great value for money, with thoughtful details everywhere and impeccable service, making for a perfect experience. I'll definitely choose this place again on my next visit and highly recommend it to everyone!
