HongFeng Hotel

The room isn't huge, but it's well laid out and has everything you need, plus it was very clean. The front desk lady was super friendly, and overall it was a good experience for the price.

The hotel is really easy to find and super convenient for getting around. There are tons of places to eat, drink, and have fun nearby. The front desk staff were very welcoming, and overall, it's excellent value for money. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm in the area and will recommend it to my friends.

I really didn't want to leave a bad review during the New Year holiday, but I'm truly upset. The room environment was perhaps only slightly better than a budget motel. The moment I walked in, there was a strange smell, and it looked like it hadn't been cleaned in ages. There were no disposable slippers, and I had to call three times before they were finally brought over. For showering, there was only a bathtub, so you either had to stand in the tub (which I didn't dare to use because it felt so dirty) or shower facing the toilet. To top it off, the floor drain was clogged. All of that aside, I then discovered there was no hairdryer in the room! The overall impression is that it's even worse than a motel – no atmosphere, no hygiene, no service, and no amenities.

The bedding and location were decent, but the service was terrible and the hygiene was absolutely awful. As soon as I walked in, I saw a dirty sock on the floor – it was disgusting. I highly doubt the room had been cleaned. Parking overnight at the entrance cost 60. If it weren't for Trip.com stepping in to take responsibility, this experience would have been even more outrageous.

The hotel was super close to where I needed to renew my documents, just 200 meters away, which was a huge plus. It's also reasonably close to Luohu Port, though there isn't a direct subway line. Other than that, it's pretty much your standard hotel.
