Highly recommend this hotel for family trips! It's not only clean and hygienic, but also boasts a tranquil environment. The suites have excellent soundproofing, making it a great place to rest. Getting around is super convenient, and the buffet is both hygienic and handy.

The hotel is excellent, especially the front desk staff, Xiao Zhang and Xiao Huang, who made us feel right at home. The doorman was also very welcoming and immediately helped with our luggage. The breakfast restaurant was a bit crowded during the New Year holiday, but the breakfast itself was delicious, with dishes like rice noodle rolls, rice noodles, and scrambled eggs.

Old and run-down with virtually no service. The room wasn't cleaned, which is a huge letdown. I forgot to take a picture of the sink, but it was all cracked.

I want to give a huge shout-out to this hotel! I booked it for my family during the Spring Festival after a lot of research. I needed a place with kid-friendly shopping nearby, cooking facilities, excellent service and hygiene, and an affordable price even during the holidays. Half Mountain One Tang turned out to be the perfect choice. We booked a one-bedroom, one-living room suite. The kitchen and washing machine were fully equipped, more than enough for a short stay. The service was prompt; whatever we needed was delivered right away. On the first night, quite late, someone even came to help set up the baby crib. Food delivery was convenient; the hotel staff would guide delivery drivers directly to our room door. The lobby manager at the entrance always opened doors for us when we took a taxi, helped with luggage, and even adjusted car seats. Honestly, many five-star hotels don't offer this level of service. During the Spring Festival, they even organized a lion dance and new year decorations. Every little detail showed how much thought and care went into this hotel. Its location isn't on a main street, so it was very quiet at night. To get to Sea World, you need to cross one main road, about a 10-minute walk. If you don't have elderly family members with mobility issues, this distance is quite acceptable. The hotel has its own restaurant and coffee shop, and there's a decent Cantonese restaurant next door. Just a street away, there are many well-rated restaurants (though most were closed during the New Year period), making it very convenient.

Visually, the room seemed fine, but it was actually really dirty, as if it hadn't been occupied for a long time. My child's non-slip socks turned completely black after just 5 minutes of walking on the floor. We casually wiped the living room table and bedside tables with a tissue, and they both came away black. The curtains were very dusty; you had to be careful when pulling them open. On the bright side, the front desk service was quite good. We had bought some frozen food to take back to Hong Kong, and since we had some time before our ferry, we asked if the front desk had a freezer for us to store it. We were told the hotel only had mini-fridges. However, the front desk allowed us to extend our check-out time, and we could temporarily store our items in the fridge. In summary, the service was good, but the hygiene was poor.
