Kashikojima no Yado Michishio

We arrived early on the day of check-in and waited briefly in the lobby before being escorted to our room around 3:00. We were given a large twin room with tatami mats. While the furniture was a bit worn, it was very clean. The air conditioner was a Daikin brand and looked brand new. The staff, though not very numerous, were very helpful. Breakfast was a Japanese set menu delivered to the room. Kashikojima Station is less than a ten-minute walk away, and the hotel offers a morning shuttle service. Kashikojima gradually becomes quiet around 5:00 or 6:00, and restaurants and convenience stores at the station close by 6:00. We didn't book dinner at the hotel, so we took the train two stops later to eat.

The hotel's scenery and service were both excellent. We booked a one-night stay with breakfast and dinner and were very satisfied with the food. Both breakfast and dinner were excellent. We also enjoyed the bed-making service and shuttle service. The only regret was that the hotel didn't offer a luggage delivery package. If they could do so in the future, it would be our absolute choice for visiting Kashikojima.

The view was great, and the in-room dining and cleanliness were great. The room attendant was also very attentive.

I stayed here with seven of my high school classmates to celebrate my 60th birthday. The hotel offered complimentary red wine and lent us a red chanchanko set for photos. Thanks to them, we had a very enjoyable dinner. The staff were very kind, and the bath was great.

I didn't drive, and the hotel is located on a slope, making the walk from the station to the hotel tiring. It's an old-fashioned hotel with a spacious interior and a souvenir shop on the first floor. The staff were polite and the experience was very good. The price was 3,000 per night on a weekend, excluding breakfast.

Very good Japanese restaurant. No matter the service, room, view, or Japanese service, they are all excellent.
