Lovely little hotel with the most delightful pool. We enjoyed that each day after visiting temples and countryside. We would arrive back so hot and sweaty and the pool refreshed us each day. Relaxing. Some of the photos show it here as blue, but it was a beautiful clear green when we were there and blended so nicely with the area. The daily breakfast were yummy offering local cuisine as well as eggs and bacon. I loved their little "pancakes" with jam! Our king size room was just right for us. Bed and pillows were comfy. My only complaint would be the dim lighting in the bathroom and no plug-in for my curling iron. (I had to do that at the desk by the bed.) and also the lack of washcloths. We asked for them and they just brought us more hand-towel size towels. But this was also a thing at another Thailand hotel, so it must just be different than at home. :) (not a big deal) It was about 8-10 blocks from Pub Street and the street markets where we ate most our evening meals, and shopped for shirts and trinkets (respectively). Some nights we walked it, some we took a tuk-tuk which were cheap and always available. All the Cambodian people (staff, restaurant workers, tuk-tuk- drivers, our guide, and sellers at the market) were pleasant and were able to communicate in English well enough. (some better than others, but we were able to understand) If you're going to Angkor Wat and/or other temples, I would recommend getting a private guide. Ours and his driver were amazing, and stopped a few times just to show us something up close that we were questioning. Don't be afraid to eat the street food. We ate "meats on sticks" and fresh fruit. The Angkor beer was good.. tasted like basic American beer- which for me was a good thing. :) Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel. Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable.
