Il Giardino di Pantaneto Residenza d'Epoca

We (two couples) stayed at Il Giardino for three nights in August 2023 and had a wonderful stay. The hotel is beautifully refurbished to a high standard which cleverly introduces modern luxuries whilst maintaining some of the great old features of this amazing building. On one side of the building you overlook the tight street which leads to Piazza Del Campo, whilst the other side of the hotel overlooks the garden, city walls and the Tuscan hills in the distance. The host and staff were all very helpful and cheerful at all times. Thanks very much for a fantastic stay.

Our hosts Alberto and Laura could not have been more helpful before we arrived giving advice on parking and booking restaurants for our stay. Our room was lovely and clean and well air conditioned and we had a delicious breakfast. I would certainly recommend to anyone considering a stay in Siena, the hotel is located very close to the centre of town and the main sites are within easy walking distance.

Il Giardino was recommended to me by my tour guide, Anna, of Siena & Italy Tours. It is minutes from the campo and shops and restaurants but feels like you are in the country. It offers all the amenities of a hotel ( left luggage,toilet for use, parking services) with the feel and vibes of a guesthouse/B&B. The owner, Laura, makes you feel most welcome with suggestions for restaurants, etc. It is recently opened with beautiful design features and the most comfortable bed. Being eco minded they have soap and shampoo dispensers that they refill and lights are all motion sensitive. You walk into Il Giardino from the busy street into a quiet haven with a beautiful garden in the back. Breakfast is served here and it is a great place to relax in the afternoon with a glass of wine. Each room has a small refrigerator that is handy. I had a room overlooking the garden and the views of Siena are magnificent. I know I will return here for future visits to enjoy such a quiet room in a central location.

I was booked to stay but regrettably my bags was stolen in Rome whilst waiting for the bus to Siena. This review focusses on the amazing customer service provided by Il giardino di Pantaneto Residenza D'Epoca In my bag was my reservation for Il giardino. Mean while in Rome a restaurant owner (Strada Romana Pizza) confiscated my bag when the thieves tried to use credit cards to pay for lunch. He then rang this hotel and obtained ( with authority) my phone number and directly contacted me in Rome . The result - my bag, passport and cards were returned as a direct result of the thoughtfulness of the Il giardino di Pantaneto staff. Whilst my trip will now end prematurely I will return to Siena and stay here and express my deepest gratitude. 🙏

we stayed 4 days in the studio room which has small kitchenette with view on garden. Very centrally located in siena and close to piazza del campo. Excellent service at hotel . Alberto the manager was very helpful and staff very nice and pleasant. Breakfast was excellent and you can eat indoors or outside in garden. they recommended excellent restaurants which we booked ahead of our arrival.

Wonderful hotel. Clean with great facilities. Garden view room was quiet with a view over surrounding countryside. Breakfast was relaxed and the gardens beautiful. The staff were amazing. Friendly and helpful. Recommended good restaurants. The hotel is in a great location for exploring siena.

Absolutely TOP DRAWER! Couldn't fault anything. The hosts, were really friendly and helpful recommending places to eat, drink and see. Breakfast was great and the view spectacular. Even bought a high chair for our toddler for breakfast (never had one so young stay)! The room was awesome. 100% recommend! Faultless....

We stayed for 4 nights mid May 2023 and we were delighted with our stay . The location is close to the main attractions, room / bathroom are modern , excellent breakfast on the terrace and outstanding staff and service warrant a 5 out of 5 top rating. This is a beautiful hotel, stylish and classy. I enjoyed the peaceful garden. The host was very pleasant, the staff efficient but lovely . Breakfast was excellent. It was perfect for what we wanted and I would definitely advise staying there
