The lake next to the property is beautiful and the owner is really accommodating - he escorted me to the lookout as it is dangerous to go out by yourself in the evening and early morning because of the elephants that may wander through the area.
Both him and his wife were very accommodating and helpful. I would definitely stay here again if I come back to Sigiriya.
The room has a tea and coffee station, a mini fridge, and air conditioning.
You are in nature, so if you don’t mind a couple of little frog friends in the bathroom, and you are a bird enthusiast, then this is the place for you.

Great base if you're exploring the Lion's Rock as the hotel's location is very near and walkable. What truly made this a great place was the host; he was very sincere, and made us feel at home throughout through home cooked meals and rides to the Lion's Rock in the morning. Would recommend this place to friends!

Amazing , strong pressure shower ! Beautiful rooom window . Lovely staff very accommodating! He picked me up and dropped me at Pidurangala Rock. Then dropped me at the bus station for no charge. I would stay here again . So helpful

Sana and his family offer a wonderful warm family stay in the middle of Sigiriya jungle. It is a unique accommodation surrounded by incredible nature, cuddled by the kindness and the balsamic feeling of all the elements around. Truly an unforgettable experience that I will hold in my heart for the years to come.
You can count on Sana for help in your trips arrangements, a lovely breakfast and whatever need you might have during your stay. I recommend at least 2/3 nights, a minimum MUST to explore the area and enjoy the Sri Lanka pace.

One of the best hotels I lived in Sri Lanka, running by a local family. They are very nice and hospitable and even provided very delicious local breakfast with wild honey and welcome coconut water. The room was a quite big with high ceiling, clean and all the stuffs were available. The hotel is in the closest location to climb the rock mountain called Pidurangala to view panorama view of Sigiri and sunrise and sunset and very close to Sigiri Lion Rock as well. The hotel can provide car and jeep services. Jeep safari to see a herd and other wild animals were quite an experience to feel the wilderness and nature. This hotel is 100% recommended when you are in Sigiriya.
If you need a car service for city to city travel, here is the service provider, called Danu and his contact number is (0774) 642 805. He is a nice and humble guy with certified local guide. We got his service from Sigiriya to Kandy to Yalla to Colombo, the trip went very smooth and we are happy that we covered all the attractions places with his assistance. Highly recommended!!

The room was spacious, clean and tidy. The landlord was also very nice. The breakfast was simple. Since we are vegetarians, there were not many choices. However, we were given bananas, coffee, bread, butter, etc., which were enough to fill our stomachs. After breakfast, the landlord led us to explore the surrounding natural environment, which was really beautiful! However, the hotel is located in the jungle and there are no walls. You must not go out at night, otherwise you may encounter animals. It is not very safe. Girls must not live here alone!

The boss is really nice. I stayed for a few nights on my sixth day in Sri Lanka. This boss is the best, very patient, and never makes comments. I feel that the boss is so nice. Unfortunately it was raining, but we were very satisfied with our stay as they provided transportation for the jeep safari, Sigiriya Rock, lunch, and dinner.
The breakfast was delicious, and they made delicious tea every time. I didn't eat it this time, but I would like to try the curry dinner they prepare for us again.
