Really nice hotel with excellent service. Wait staff were outstanding. The buffet is very good with separate cooled room for salads and deserts. It would help to keep the food warm though. Great grounds for a stroll and a very welcome clean swimming pool. The rooms are generous and laid out like chalets in a game park. Reminded us of Africa. The open shower is probably not a good idea. Walls are stained and it's quite mouldy. Perhaps wifi in reception would also be a good idea

Central location to visit all historic, cultural and wild life parks within the cultural triangle. Incredible service with friendly staff. Always trying to please guests to their specific needs. Rooms are clean, spacious and equipped with all amenities to make your stay comfortable. Give this place a shot. They will surprise you with their service and you will be surprised with the value you get.

Had the most amazing stay at this hotel...the bungalows are basic but set in beautiful tropic forest, lots of wildlife to see and a perfect base for local site seeing. The staff were friends and made our stay easy...lalantha was a star, each night in the restaurant he remembered our daily activities and talked to us about them...would love to return

Lovely hotel in great location for exploring this area. We stayed half board and the food was really good at breakfast and dinner. We used the pool a couple of days out of the 3 we stayed, ot was clean and the water was warm. The staff are so friendly and helpful. We were looked after brilliantly by the staff and in particularly Lalantha who was fantastic

My family and I came to stay here for two nights, and we were wonderfully pleased not only with the amenities, but also the gracious and helpful staff. The rooms are spectacular, with a massive private open air shower, bathtub, very comfortable beds, and wonderfully efficient AC. The grounds are extremely well maintained, with two amazing pools and tons of local wildlife (peacocks and small monitor lizards) roaming the grounds. The food was delicious, with either a fixed menu, a la carte, or buffet depending on the option you took when booking, and the wait staff attentive and helpful, although it did get complicated on one instance for separating items charged to rooms. All in all, I would highly recommend this hotel for guests looking for some tranquility and relaxation before or after climbing Sigiriya.

Extent hotel, bungalows are set in tropical gardens which have great pillows, beds and new AC. Bathrooms are basic but very clean. Lovely large pool and outstanding buffet breakfast and dinner which was different every day. Very friendly and helpful staff. There are peacocks and beautiful bird life throughout the gardens. I highly recommend this hotel.

We spent three days here. Really good base to explore the Cultural Triangle and only a few mins from Sigiriya Rock. Lodges were lovely, breakfast and dinner buffets were excellent and a very nice pool to relax after a trip to the sights. Strongly recommend staying here.

Great place to stay. The room was clean and well air conditioned. The shower was great with plenty of hot water. The open air restaurant was really nice and the food delicious and plentiful. The restaurant/bar staff were so friendly and memorable (especially Lalandha and Ashen). Wish we could have stayed longer.

It is a large property with both cabanas and also a block with rooms. We were a large group of around 30 pax and we were given the block on the far end. So we got rooms near by but it was a bit of a walk to the restaurant. Meals were decent. But the food did not have name tags and when inquired about the food items the staff lacked knowledge. This proved to be bit of a challenged as we had both vegetarians and also those with food allergies. The rooms were large but we felt that the rooms were not used often as it had a mold sort of smell. It would have been better had the rooms been opened up prior to giving them to guests. Non of the rooms had hand/ face towels but upon request we were provided with those as well as tea cups. The staff is quite friendly and were willing to help. We got the feeling that the hotel is understaffed and lacks trained personnel. We were arranged a separate area in the Kamatha area for a sing-along and the hotel was able to arrange a Calypso band upon our request. Overall we enjoyed out stay though there were few hiccups along the way. Nothing to complain about the stay. TIP - if you have trouble walking, request for a room closer to the restaurant otherwise its quite a walk!
