Long Set Resort

Excellent location, beautiful scenery, poor internet (but amazing view on the sea), nice food, cocktails, everything you need on your vacation. Only frustrating thing was that the room was not cleaned even I've asked for it. But highly recommend for everybody!

Great stay at Long Set Resort. The location is perfect, situated on a clean white sand beach. The staff are excellent at the resort, made our stay very relaxed. Shame we were only here for three nights. Would definitely stay again.

Long Set Beach is amazing!

The best thing about this resort is the staff. Im definitely coming back for them.. Helpful,friendly and simply nice.. Location is great, food and drinks are super worth it.. Definitely my favorite n long set beach..and not to mention the pool is just ssooooo good..See u again soon!

Amazing location on the beach, with beach on one side and pool on the other. Depending on the time of the day we rotated between. Everything was clean and well looked after. Room with AC and hot water. It was right beside the pier so easy to get to, and the ocean was pristine and baby blue. They have towels, paddle boards, row boat, or snorkel you can just borrow (not great snorkelling though). We decided to not include the breakfast because it was $12 American and we thought quite expensive for a normal buffet breakfast but a lot of guests enjoyed it. Right up from the pier there’s lots of local restaurants and we experimented with them and really enjoyed the food, smoothies, and coconuts. There’s also a small shop beside the hotel that sells drinks and coffee (ask for with milk and ice!) so we bought our drinks there instead of the hotel. My only feedback was I didn’t like how they didn’t provide more water, only 2 small bottles a day. I think they should have a larger jug that we can fill up to be more sustainable. Overall loved this place and would definitely come back!

A decent resort and relatively good value for money. The one time we ate there the new staff were very confused. That's ok but led to an awkward issue at checkout when the local manager tried to charge us for food and drinks when we had already paid the day before. Overall a good place on a nice beach that had limited other hotel options.

Everything is great, especially compare to some other 4* hotels on the island.

Amazing location on a beautiful beach. Very convenient to get to from the nearby ferry terminal. Unfortunately that is where the positive points ended for us. While the staff is incredibly friendly and lovely, service is extremely slow or non-existent. It is difficult to get the attention of waiters at the restaurant and the room only got cleaned upon requesting. Same as for basic amenities like water and toilet paper or fresh towels. Everything has to be requested daily. The restaurant food is extremely overpriced at $8 for dishes that were partly inedible simply because they were not cooked enough. Raw onions, raw garlic, raw vegetables, raw lemongrass…it could be so much better especially for such a high price. Drinks were great but again hard to order if nobody checks on you and you have to go to the bar yourself to get someone’s attention. The room itself is very basic and had a few issues like door lock not working, fridge broke, shower drain blocked. Instead of the garden view it was facing a indianisches apartment / hotel construction site with a stale green pool. The resulting pack of mosquitoes day and night was concerning and could be avoided by draining this breeding ground, and providing at least mosquito coils. The resort as a whole is very run down and does not reflect the price paid. You’d get a luxury resort for the same price in Siem reap for example. Unfortunately the star rating on Trip.com was misleading as to the actual quality of the resort. While the location is fantastic and staff friendly, I cannot recommend this resort at all at this price point and was rather disappointed.
