Clean and tidy room, very comfortable if a bit on the small side. Great hosts who collected us from a drop off point. Nice garden area to sit in. Meal was provided on request but no real g/f options..

Exceptionally knowledgeable & friendly hosts. They both collected us when we needed to get to them & dropped us off at our required destination the following day. Superb local dishes prepared in house & brought to the table personally. Bearing in mind that B&B is secondary to their tearoom business, it's a revelation how things as should be done. As well as a great location, the garden is immaculate and just a very short walk away is a large medieval church of significant historical interest. Should you be interested in fishing, both Soraya & Dave, the proprietors, are medal winning salmon fishermen!! A must for visitors to Northumbria.

The room was too warm and no fans. The bathroom is not an ensuite but we didn’t have to share it. Dinner was expensive for what we got and for a tearoom there was only one homemade dessert and the cake was dry. However Dave the host made this visit worthwhile.

What a picturesque place to stay.Highly recommend a stay there.I was made to feel very welcome,I was made to feel lie one of the family, first class hosting. Rooms spotless clean. Comfy beds and clean bathroom. Excellent food .

As hungry hikers, we could not have found a better point to pause on our walk than Simonburn Tearooms. We sat in the stunning garden and enjoyed the ambience whilst the pleasant staff sorted us out with hearty helpings of cheesy chips and paninis, rounded off with delicious Victoria sponge. We waddled away very happy!

Wow, what a lovely place to stay. We only stayed one night as we were walking Hadrian’s Wall. Soraya and Dave, the proprietors, are really lovely and so friendly. It’s lovely and clean, the food is home made and delicious. Highly recommend 👍🏼❤️

I stayed here whilst walking the Hadrian's Wall Trail. The owners will collect you from Chollerford and drive you back to the Trail the following morning. The owners are very friendly and helpful, to say the least. We had a very tasty evening meal, followed by a superb breakfast the following morning. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again when in the area.

Myself and my friend were running the Sandstone way, and we were passing through at 7am in a Sunday morning. Sseeing a sign for the tea room I enquired if they were open, Ann said not really until 9am but invited us in. We had delicious bacon rolls, a large pot of tea ( and we offered a second one) then we had freshly made scones and jam, the scones were still warm. They could not of been nicer, and I can't wait to visit again.
