Hotel Mi Bencoolen

I stayed at Hotel Mi Bencoolen for 3 days. Overall, it was a comfortable stay, and both the location and basic room conditions were decent. However, the rooms are a bit small, which made it a bit inconvenient to unpack luggage or move around freely. It's a decent hotel for a short stay, but it would have been even better if the rooms were slightly more spacious.

The room is very compact, and noise from the hallway can be clearly heard. I brought my own earplugs and sleep aids, and combined with long activity hours each day, I slept very well. Once opened and laid flat, my suitcase left just enough space to walk past on one side. The outer bed faces a mirror directly. The air conditioning in the room is very strong, and the front desk staff can speak Chinese. It's just a dozen steps away from the subway station, right across from a 7-Eleven, and right next to a coffee shop and a bar. There is a bus stop right by the subway, a few hundred meters' walk to the Fort Canning Tree Tunnel, and walking the other direction leads to the Old Hill Street Police Station, where there is a McDonald's. The room is equipped with direct drinking water, which is very convenient. For hailing a taxi, you can just input the hotel name, and the driver will pick you up right at the spot shown in picture three outside the hotel entrance. For my itinerary, this subway station always required transfers, so I actually ended up taking the bus most of the time later on.

The room was very clean, and the service was great too. The staff all speak Chinese, so you can communicate in Chinese directly. The best part is that it's very close to the subway station, with a 7-Eleven right across the street, making it super convenient to buy things.

Hotel Mi Bencoolen boasts an excellent location, conveniently close to popular attractions like the National Museum and Fort Canning Park, making getting around a breeze. It's right next to the Downtown MRT line and has a comprehensive bus network, making trips to Orchard Road, Marina Bay, and other areas hassle-free. The guest rooms feature a simple and modern design, are clean and tidy, and come with complete bathroom facilities. While the soundproofing could be slightly better, the overall stay was comfortable. The front desk staff are warm and attentive, with Chinese-speaking receptionists available, ensuring seamless communication. Overall, it's a very cost-effective city hotel, perfect for sightseeing, quick stops, or short layovers, with easy access to transportation, dining, and shopping.

The quad room is perfect for families with children. Hotel Mi Bencoolen's location is excellent, with a subway station right downstairs. There are also breakfast shops and late-night food stalls nearby, some even open until 3 AM.

The room was a bit small, but clean and tidy. The bedding was comfortable, and I slept well. It's very close to the subway, making travel convenient. There are also plenty of restaurants directly across the street and a short walk to the left. The service quality was good.

The location is excellent, just about 100 meters from the Bencoolen MRT station, making transportation very convenient. There are also quite a few popular Instagrammable spots nearby, all within walking distance. However, the room was really too small and cramped.

The hotel staff were excellent, very enthusiastic, and allowed free luggage storage. They even offered early check-in when a room was available. The air conditioning in the room was strong, and the location was super convenient – the nearest MRT station is only 100 meters away. I'll definitely stay at Hotel Mi Bencoolen again next time.
