Firstly, l have to point out to Trip.com to be more specific in your description. I saw your posting of the Urban Luxe room with the MBS facing photo therefore l booked the room. But at the hotel, l was told that not all Urban Luxe rooms face the MBS, and l should have called the hotel to request. However, l was told that my Urban Luxe room was being upgraded to Room 606. As l thought my booking was an MBS-facing room, l asked the receptionist if 606 is facing MBS, and she told me it's not. But she kindly told me she'd look for an MBS facing room for me. After waiting for about 15 min, she came back to me and informed me that she had switched my room to 603 and assured me that it's MBS-facing. But when l went up to room 603, l found out that it's facing the main road and The Central, the side which l didn't want. So, l went down to ask her to switch back to the 606, which is actually facing the side l wanted. She told me that room 606 was given to a couple after me, and she had no other room to allocate to me. She told me that all guests for the day had already checked in. So, l had no choice but to remain in 603, paying the price of other's mistakes. I had told her that l wanted to watch the fireworks from the room, and that's why l wanted an MBS-facing room. She told me to go up to the rooftop to watch the fireworks instead. However, we later found out that the rooftop lounge was closed for a private event. Not wanting to spoil our fun, hubby and l decided to go to the riverside to watch the fireworks instead. Despite all these hiccups, the hotel room didn't disappoint us (apart from the street view). The bed was comfortable and nice to sleep in. The decorations and fixtures are cosy and relaxing. And it's clean.Good TWG teabags and Bacha coffee bags were provided. We love the breakfast as well, especially the curry chicken with prata and the pancakes. The staff at the restaurant and those we met in the lifts are friendly and cheerful. Just hope that the receptionist was better-informed of the room orientation and the events that's ongoing in the hotel.

Cute boutique hotel in a very lively area. Service is impeccable. Rooms are small.

Absolutely loved this hotel! The exterior has a charming vintage vibe that really stands out. The service staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Inside, everything felt super clean and cozy — just the kind of atmosphere I enjoy. The price was also very reasonable for the quality offered. Overall, a wonderful stay and I’d definitely come back!

The hotel is new and clean, plus it's conveniently located. The pool is a bit small though.
