Bluewaters Female-Only Hostel

The overall environment is great, and the beds offer good privacy. The only downside is that the upstairs bar can get very noisy, which isn't ideal for light sleepers. The location of this place is excellent. You can take the subway from the airport and get off at Raffles Place. Everything is very close by. It's less than a ten-minute walk to the Merlion. There are also subway stations and a 7-Eleven nearby, and it's particularly close to the Lau Pa Sat hawker center. The luggage lockers are integrated with the beds, and you'll receive a small key upon check-in. So far, I've encountered two staff members. One has an Asian appearance, but I'm not sure if she speaks Chinese. Communication involved hand gestures to show me what to photograph for my records, and overall, check-in was very convenient. There are three bathrooms. In one of them, the showerhead can't be hung up. Shower gel and shampoo are provided. The toilets are outside, and you need to enter the main door password to go in and out, which is a bit inconvenient. Everything else is fine. There are dedicated areas for makeup and dining, and hot water is provided for free.

The room was very clean, and check-in was a breeze. Even though there's a bar downstairs, you can enjoy the music without it getting too noisy after a certain hour, so you can still get a good night's sleep. It felt very safe, even for an all-female group. The front desk service was good, and it's super close to the Merlion, so you can easily go for a city walk. Chinatown is also nearby, making dining very convenient.

I chose this place for my solo trip, and it felt incredibly safe since it's an all-female establishment. The restroom is outside the main area, and you need a code to get in, which adds to the security. It was also very clean. The only downside is the bar upstairs; if they play music with a strong beat, it can be hard to fall asleep. On the plus side, it's very close to the subway station.
