Fraser Residence Orchard, Singapore

In August, housekeeping was still doing daily cleaning, but now, after a six-night stay, it's only been cleaned twice. I checked in on a Tuesday and was told cleaning would be done on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Of course, I can request towels to be changed anytime, but housekeeping's response time is extremely slow; both times I waited 40 minutes and had to call twice before a staff member arrived. The staff at the breakfast restaurant are still very welcoming and provide excellent service, making it feel like home. The gym and swimming pool are also kept clean and tidy. It used to be my top choice, but I might have to reconsider next time.

The hotel has a fantastic location, right next to the MRT station, from which you can easily walk to ION Orchard. The service is also excellent; it's the only hotel in Singapore that will deliver your takeout to your door.
