Possibly the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. When I arrived they could not find my booking, turns out they were searching under the wrong name even though I gave them my password. The building next door/above is being built and there was building noise from 7am - 11.30pm at night. Sometimes it felt they were drilling next to my head. When I complained the staff didn’t believe me and had to come and check in the room themselves. The attitude was rude and not appreciated. The room was extremely dirty. Dirty linen, stains, wallpaper peeling, filthy air conditioning, spiders webs, hairs! What more could be wrong! Worryingly I went to use the stairs to get some steps in and there were extreme obstructions to something that was labelled as the fire escape. Health and safety nightmare! The breakfast was appalling, no juice on offer and. lack of options were the least of the problems. The cereal was crawling with bugs and the general state of the eating area was very unsanitary. Worst hotel ever! Avoid at all costs (especially £80 a night)!

Located at the edge of the heart of Singapore, amid historical neighbourhoods (about 80-100 yo). One sheltered over cross pedestrian bridge to a shopping mall & MRT station, 3-10 minutes walking to the cozy Clark Quay & River Valley, and the classy Raffles Place CBD. Amenities & facilities are very basic, while relatively spacious for hotel/ hostel of this class

stay 2 nights, no service on arrival, waited, told to put luggage at dining tables facing the front door (not safe as anyone can see) No 2 bottles of water (FOC) instead a jug of water(do not know how long it is changed everyday) The room wallpaper peeled off and looked not updated at all, very unpleasant. The pillows are flat (looked like it being used for many years, the same for the donna cover (old and unclean) Cannot sleep for 2 nights, coming home sick due to lack of sleep, the noise from the air conditioner runs very loud. Behind reception, ie (where the staff stay )was unclean, and toilet was not safe to use. Very disappointed. Needs renovation. Rated NO STAR HOTEL.

The next door has construction banding loud from 8am to 9pm. Very annoying, sometimes no hot water which saying the rain water cause no hot water. Ants on walls, tables and even bathroom. We raised this complaints to trip.com, but showing don’t care much.

We checked in to the hotel 26th and checked out on 27th. A last minute thing, well we were very pleased with the receptionist lady and the check in process. Unfortunately though, the room didn't pleased us as it was way too small. Content with a last minute booking and all. We agreed too.. bt then... The rooms surroundings us is full of foreign workers as they were putting their shoes and sliipers outside their rooms. We were abit taken aback, then the AC and the wifi was terrible. We were literally like in sauna and after an hour or so in room. We werr like almost drenching. Service recovery was done, abit of help was given by the hotel in house technician. Thank you to him. Well just as we thought we could rest well for the day, i came upon a BED BUG on my pillow. Ewww..... Bring it up to the hotel reps, brought down the pillow and all. Was told n walked to the hotel sis hotel that is just round a corner. Forsaking the night and all. The new hotel brought is slighly better but to my assumptions then well its not a hotel operationally. And theres few corkraches at the toilet there... Being a guy, managed to coo my partner to sleep only and comes first thing in the morning. Will leave.. for sure n not return here at all with this beautiful sucks experience. .. Here is a pic of the bed bug

Was "transfer" to their sister hotel , jayleen 1918 upon chk in, had to walk to next street. So no ideal how jayleen clark q.may be. We was given a rm as seen being advertising as their excutive room but photo should be from long ago. Room is clean but bedding, pillow etc are very old n wear condition.too "old home" feel. All white fabric are greyed , wooden furniture with rotten edge. Toilet metal rack rust, shower curtain stained. Bed edge with opp tape.A small table top Tv,with very limited channel.not even local channel 5 nor 8. Overall is like old small town home stay.
