lyf Funan Singapore

Pros: 1. Excellent location. There's a subway station downstairs and you can directly access the hotel without exiting the station, which makes it super convenient to get here from the airport! If you're on a budget like me, you don't even need to take the subway. Just get a bike share app from your home country and you can cycle anywhere in the city conveniently. 2. There's a play area for kids and a sports zone. You can lounge anywhere in the common areas, which is a lifesaver for moms. 3. The hotel provides breakfast, and for the three days I stayed, there were new items daily. The fruit was very fresh. 4. The staff were very friendly. Cons: The room facing the fire station had a great view; you could see the firefighters' good physiques, but it was very noisy. So, I went to the front desk and changed rooms on my first night.

lyf Funan Singapore is definitely my favorite hotel in Singapore. It's not as rigid as traditional hotels. There's a high chance you'll find someone who speaks Chinese at the front desk. The breakfast is decent, and there are washing machines, so you don't need to buy extra laundry detergent.

The hotel is in a great location – city center, close to the metro, and in a building with a shopping mall. No issues with food, options for every taste, prices are excellent for Singapore, there's a McDonald's, and breakfast is included. You can access the metro via a gallery from the shopping center on level B2 without going outside. The rooms are clean, with a cool design, and the staff is excellent. Most importantly, it's close to attractions for such a price. An excellent hotel.

The location is perfect for visiting the city, with direct access to the metro so you don't have to suffer the heat. Although most places are within walking distance. The only downside is how poorly soundproofed it is. Even though the rooms are on very high floors, you can hear all the street noise. Plus, there are no blinds, so you can forget about sleeping in total darkness unless you bring an eye mask. Breakfast caters to all types, very complete. The shower screen in the bathroom doesn't do its job, and water spills out everywhere.

The hotel is centrally located, making it easy to get to popular attractions in Singapore. The price is reasonable, although the room is a bit small and wasn't cleaned.

Excellent location. Within walking distance to all attractions, but it's more convenient by bus, which runs every 2 minutes. Spotless white linens. 24/7 access. The only downside is the awful breakfasts.

Extremely satisfied! The location is great and it was much easier to find than I expected. I highly recommend this accommodation to everyone!!!!

The curtains let in sunlight in the morning, which made it hard to sleep. Plus, there were a lot of fire alarm drills. I could usually sleep until noon, but here I was woken up at 7 AM. The luggage space under the bed smelled really, really bad, and there was something sticky on the floor. I had to cover it with a towel to block the smell. The area around the bedside table also reeked of the previous guest, indicating it wasn't cleaned thoroughly. The TV wasn't working either. Ugh, what a truly awful experience.

The hotel is very clean and hygienic. Although it's a bit old, the facilities are well-maintained. The room is bright with a minimalist design. For around 1000, it includes breakfast with a decent variety, offering great value for money. The mall it's located in has everything from dining to entertainment, and there are plenty of attractions nearby. The direct indoor access from the subway station is a huge plus, especially in summer. Don't forget to check out the rooftop garden for night views!
