After booking the hotel, I saw a lot of negative reviews on a certain app, which made me quite worried about my trip. After a family experience, here are my thoughts:
1. **Check-in**: We arrived at the hotel around 12 PM. I didn't see any bellboys (there were steps but no ramp, which is not luggage-friendly). There were a few customers at the front desk checking in. I waited for two people before it was my turn. On that day, I didn't see any Chinese-speaking staff, but English was fine. I checked in first, there was no deposit, and I left my luggage for storage (when we came back, the luggage was already in the room). There was an island entry QR code on the front desk (be sure to take a picture). The person who assisted me was an Indian girl, beautiful and with a good attitude.
2. **Room (Family Room)**: When we entered the room, the sofa bed was already made, and amenities were laid out, but the duvet cover was casually left behind the door and not taken away. The glass mineral water in the refrigerator was not checked during cleaning; there was a half-used bottle from the previous guest that hadn't been replaced. I called the front desk to ask someone to change the water (it took quite a while). The room came with complimentary coconut water and snacks, a double vanity, and the amenities were quite complete. We found the air conditioning wasn't cooling properly that day. I informed a staff member, who noted it down but didn't resolve it. The next day, I contacted the front desk staff, and it was eventually fixed. On the third day, after the room was cleaned, no drinking water was left, so I called the front desk again. Overall, the front desk's attitude and speed in handling issues were good, though some individual cleaning staff might not be meticulous enough.
3. **Other**: The pool isn't big and not crowded. You can get towels at the front desk. Breakfast is à la carte; they'll provide you with a Chinese and English menu based on your nationality. There's a wide variety of sets, and one portion is more than enough for one person (each set also comes with two eggs beforehand). (Don't choose the Chinese style, it's not very good.) The staff service attitude is good. My child didn't go the last few days, and they could pack the breakfast for us to take back. In the evenings, they would proactively greet us, and if you need ice, just ask the front desk!
We stayed for three nights in total, and check-out was very quick. They also helped load our luggage into the taxi.
A beautiful Chinese-speaking staff member at the front desk was particularly helpful.
The hotel's location is excellent; right opposite is the mini train station, and it's only about a five-minute walk to Universal Studios. Next to the mini train station, there's a Starbucks, KFC, and 7-Eleven, all very convenient.
