Hotel Bencoolen @ Bencoolen Street

A hotel where something can happen. It is currently located on Bencoolen Street in Singapore, where travelers can easily find many other hotels nearby.

Free breakfast is a real deal since SG is expensive plus very near to 2 bus stops and MRT. They let us check in early. I like their breakfast and their beds. The room's aircon is centralized. Loved our stay.

Very nice place. It's spacious. Very close to mrt and 7/11. They have parking lot too. Their elevator could be a little slow at times but they have stairs which guest can use for convenience.

Good location, near MRT, bus station, fort canning. We enjoyed stay at there. Thank you.

Bath tub but had no hot water. Good central location just skip throw away from subway. Ultra convenient. Ambiance leaves a lot to be desired. They have a vent system that has a bit of background noise, it is not loud but noisy enough to notice when you are sleeping. Room is also not so well lighted. Having different light sources with different warm and white tones. The towel color also changes from blue stripes to tattered white to normal white in the 3 nights we stayed- what a variety. Generally it is a good value for money. For business people. With twin rooms at an affordable rate, if you plan to visit what Singapore has to offer and you just need a place to sleep that is in the city center.

Good location, very near to the MRT station. Room a bit old and the lift need to wait for a while

The hotel is quite old and the room size is small. Cleanliness was below standard, which affected the overall comfort of the stay. The air-conditioning was also dripping during the stay. However, there was very loud noise around midnight, possibly from nearby karaoke or music, and it made us difficult to sleep. One plus point is the complimentary breakfast, which is a nice addition for a budget stay. The biggest advantage is the location — it’s very convenient. The hotel is close to MRT Station. There are also bus stops nearby, making it easy to get around.

Location is great, but be awake there are two hotels with the same name, they belong to each other. For Singapore a good price rate. But superior rooms are really small, book deluxe. Metro station are close by, but you can walk downtown in the historic area within 20 min. Orchids road same distance. Breakfast is not sustainable, all plastic/paper to discard. No milk! Therefore rice and vegetables, toast only with butter and jam. Pool is not sunny. But for price sensitive travelers a good option in Singapore.
