The room was unhygienic, housekeeping was inconsistent, and no complimentary drinking water was provided during my stay. Daily cleaning was expected but never done, leaving the space uncomfortable and poorly maintained. Overall, the experience felt neglectful and disappointing, and I would not recommend this hotel unless service standards improve significantly.

Room size is comfortable, nice place but needs more upkeep to maintain the place, some items and areas are quite worn out, needs some upgrading and proper maintenance.

This is the first time I have had a bad experience with this hotel. Luckily, I only stayed at this hotel for 1 day.
1: The profile photo is completely different from the hotel's actual photo. It is really damp, has an unpleasant smell, is not clean, and does not match the price I paid for 1 night.
2: When I arrived at the hotel with a lot of luggage, I did not receive any help from the receptionist; the service was not at all friendly.
3: The deposit refund policy is really ******** for a hotel like this. When checking in, the staff did not tell the guests about the deposit refund policy. What hotel holds the guests' money for 60 to 90 days when using a credit or debit card? Why do they have to hold the money for so long? I did not receive any prior notice when booking. If it is clear, I used cash to deposit. It was not until 1 month later that I emailed the hotel, and they informed me of the policy.

This can't even be called a hotel; in China, it would barely pass as a guesthouse. It's located in an Indian neighborhood, so you can imagine the environment. The room facilities are terrible. We booked four rooms, and one of the sinks was practically clogged. We couldn't find any staff, and check-in was in a different building altogether.

I stayed at Daulat Hotel near Rochor MRT, and the location is easily the best part. It’s also within walking distance of Bugis, Little India, and Jalan Besar MRT stations, which makes getting around Singapore incredibly convenient. On top of that, you’re surrounded by food options, hawker centres, and plenty of places to eat at all hours, so it’s a very practical base for exploring the city.
For the price, the hotel was generally okay, and the room was actually quite spacious. The bed was comfortable, and there was a generous amount of table space (though only one chair). However, a few things held the stay back. There’s no standard daily housekeeping, but to be fair, cleaning and towel changes were always done quickly when requested.
The bigger issues were around upkeep. The pillows were quite moldy, especially along the seams, which was unpleasant. The shower leaked a lot of water onto the bathroom floor, and the bathroom sometimes had a really bad smell. Also, the room was advertised as having windows, but in reality it was just two tiny ceiling windows beneath the swimming pool area that can’t be opened, so there’s essentially no fresh air.
A couple of smaller annoyances: the TV remote didn’t work, and we were only given one room key.
Overall, I’d still give it 4 stars because the location is outstanding and the room size and bed comfort made it workable, but I do think the hotel needs better maintenance and more honest expectations around the “window” situation.

Been here several times, this time booked the standard room instead of the loft. Room was spacious enough for just a quick staycay, not recommended if you’re a tourist with many luggages due to the limited moving space inside. Separated shower and toilet areas, but the sliding door can only cover 1 area each time. Room comes with smart TV that supports YouTube and Netflix, which is really convenient. S$100 refundable deposit required upon check-in.

Room condition was very poor. Floor was extremely dusty (our socks turned black), toilet smelled bad, sink tap was broken, bedsheet was torn and furry, and basic amenities like hair dryer were missing.
Please also do not mislead guests by showing photos with iron & iron board when only the iron board is provided. We came back late at night expecting to iron clothes, but there only have iron & was —no iron at all.
Check-in experience was stressful and unprofessional! We came as 3 pax for a Loft Queen room and were open to paying or upgrading. However, that indian staff —refused to let us enter the room and asked us to —wait around 40 minutes.
The issue was not the policy, but —how it was handled & attitude. The staff kept blaming us for “not informing earlier” instead of offering a solution. Only after my friend spoke to her again were we finally allowed to enter the room temporarily — which clearly shows — defensive, repetitive, all inconsistency and poor judgement. No apology was given!
Special thanks to Ms. Liza, who was polite, helpful, assisted with slippers, tried to help find an iron late at night, and apologized on behalf of the hotel. She showed what proper customer service should be.
Overall, very disappointing stay👎🏿. Poor cleanliness and bad front desk attitude. Please do take action to that indian staff.

The location is quite convenient, close to the metro station and the bus stop. There's a 7/11 nearby. I expected much better, but the room on the first floor was a mistake... an Asian cockroach on the first night spoiled the overall experience (not a pleasant find). The staff is quite helpful, no complaints.
