Hotels in Bugis, Singapore

Very close to Haji Lane, about a 5-10 minute walk from the MRT, which is very convenient. The front desk speaks English, so Chinese communication is a bit difficult. The room was clean and had a small balcony. It can be a bit noisy facing the road, but everything else was fine. It's about a 45-minute drive from Changi Airport, which is quite convenient.

This is a great hotel! It's right opposite a large shopping mall in Bugis, and there's a colorful spiral staircase next to it. We stayed on the 11th floor, and the room was bright and clean, not at all humid. There's a water dispenser in the room, so no need to buy bottled water. The infinity pool on the 7th floor is beautiful and clean. Public transport, both buses and the MRT, are easily accessible nearby, making it convenient for getting around. The only minor downside is that the towels in the room are quite old and fraying, but it wasn't an issue for us as we brought our own.

I stayed for three nights, and overall, it felt clean and quiet. The staff were polite. The hotel doesn't offer breakfast, and the hairdryer in the bathroom wasn't powerful enough and would automatically stop after a short use. The hotel's location is convenient for transportation. I would consider staying here again if I have the chance.

Clean and classy hotel room. Right in the heart if the city. Easy to get around. Plenty of food & restaurants to choose from. Hotel staff are courteous and friendly. Especially Susan Tan at the reception desk. Thank-you, for granting us a late check-out. We will definitely be back here. And recommend our friends to stay here at A-Hotel Bugis. Suggestion: It will be a huge added comfort use to instal a bidet spray next to toilet bowl.

I appreciate the location and the fact that basic amenities like room slippers and dental kits are provided. You also use an app for check in/out with a digital key provided in the app which is rather convenient. However, I did not enjoy my stay here. The room is not exactly the cleanest because there were stains on the bedsheets. I don’t think the sheets were replaced before we checked in. Also the walls at this place are EXTREMELY thin. If you are a light sleeper like me, you will not have a good sleep because there will be a lot of noises outside. When I was there the noises started at around 6am and lasted for about an hour which disturbed my sleep greatly. This place is for those who are just looking for a convenient place to stay and doesn’t mind getting your sleep disturbed in the morning.

Let me share something you probably haven't seen in this review section: 1) This hotel is located on Waterloo Street, yes, that Waterloo you're thinking of. 2) Diagonally opposite the hotel is a Catholic church, next to the hotel is a synagogue, and less than 300 meters down the street is a very popular Guanyin Temple (Buddhist temple) frequented by locals. Right next to the Guanyin Temple is an Indian temple. So, basically, this short street is home to many deities, haha. 3) The breakfast option when booking through Trip wasn't expensive, but the choices were indeed limited (to cater to various ethnic specialties, individual tastes might be less satisfied). I'd recommend trying a local breakfast one day. The hotel's breakfast dining area, however, has a nice ambiance.

What a brilliant concept and place. The main differientation from other capsule hotels is that each pod is secure, lockable and deathly quiet from noise on the streets. Arab st is very lively in the evening with lots of music playing. The hostel lost points because house keeping was very poor. Stayed 4 nts and no one cleaned the bathrooms, check that there was enough toilet paper or picked up piles of hair in the drainer. Urgh. One toilet seat in the three bathrooms (on each floor) was detached and not fixed. Do not reach below the mattress or you will find a handful of ouse, dust and hair. There was no hot water on Floor 2; thankfully the weather was warm enough. Was told that Floor 3 had hot water on day 3! Apart from the state of the bathrooms, the capsule itself was comfy with fast charging outlets, even a little telly and mood lighting. I do recommend this place. The owners will do brilliantly to have better housekeeping. Receptionist was bright, friendly and welcoming. My messages were promptly answered to self service check in. A great experience and for those on a budget...the capsules were brilliant. Thankfully during my stay, other guests were respectful and quiet. That is the thing that wouls make or break. Good luck.

Great location, just a 5-10 minute walk from the MRT station. There are plenty of Bugis malls nearby, and within walking distance, you'll find Mr. Coconut and a mall with a CS Supermarket. That mall also houses many famous shops like Ya Kun Kaya Toast and pandan cake places. The room itself is spacious. This place was cheaper than my Chinatown accommodation but much larger. If you like ample space, you'll feel more comfortable here. However, it's a bit old, and there were no tissues or slippers in the room, which is something to note.

The hotel is ideally located and exceptionally clean. Although the rooms are small, they are fully equipped with everything you need. One feature I especially loved was the water dispenser with adjustable temperature settings. It is incredibly convenient and a huge plus for anyone who loves drinking warm water, as you don't have to wait for a kettle to boil. The lobby also offers complimentary local snacks, which the kids absolutely loved. They also have a self-service luggage storage room. I will definitely choose to stay at this hotel again next time!

Knowing how small Singapore’s hotel room is, we didn’t expect much from Ibis Budget’s room but surprisingly, the room is bigger than we expected! We can still open our big luggage and there’s still some space left. There are no amenities but they changed the towels daily. Location is great! Located at Bugis, it’s very convenient to go around the city center. If you’re participating in an event at Suntec Convention Centre, I recommend this hotel. It’s only 5 mins away from Suntec by foot. There are a lot of restaurants nearby (7 eleven is right next to the hotel). Overall we enjoyed our stay at Ibis Budget Bugis😊
