Really enjoyed my time here at the Budget Ibis on the way to flying home to Jamaica businesses. The staff are very friendly and their service is great. Everything was perfect and I felt very welcome. Thanks to all the IBIS staff for their service and support ... One Love ... Sue Steinhilber
The hotel is located at London Heathrow Airport Terminal 4. However, if you're coming from Terminal 5, you cannot take the airport train directly to T4. You'll need to take the airport train (which is essentially the Elizabeth Line connecting to central London) from T5 to Terminal 2, and then transfer at T2 for a train to T4. This transfer is free, but you'll need to pick up a free ticket from a machine before you board to access the platform. On the London Underground, trains often go in different directions from the same platform, so make sure to check the train's direction before boarding. Once you arrive at T4, just follow the signs down a rather long corridor, and you'll reach the hotel.
The hotel offers self-check-in at the front desk. There's a Costa next to the front desk, and also a restaurant.
If you need to head to T5 from the hotel for an early flight (as the airport train doesn't start until 5:30 AM), you can take a bus instead. The bus stop is conveniently located next to the hotel's ground floor car park. See the bus timetable for details. You can just tap your credit card to pay for your fare when you board; I believe it's around £1.50.
The hotel's double rooms also come with a sofa bed, which means it can comfortably accommodate three people.
I stayed at the Best Western Ariel for one night before an early morning flight from Heathrow, and it was a solid choice for convenience. The location is great — only a few minutes from Terminals 2 and 3, and there's a shuttle bus that runs regularly. Check-in was smooth and the staff were friendly and helpful, even with my late arrival.
The room was compact but clean, with everything I needed for a short stay — comfy bed, decent shower, and a kettle with tea and coffee. It’s not a luxury hotel by any means, but it served its purpose well. The soundproofing was surprisingly good considering the proximity to the airport — I barely heard any planes.
Only downside was the breakfast — it felt a bit basic for the price. Also, the decor is a bit dated, but again, for a one-night airport stopover, it’s totally fine.
Would stay again if I need to be close to Heathrow!

The room was very clean, and it was the perfect choice for a layover as we had a flight the next day. A bus stop conveniently located right outside takes you directly to Terminal 5, with buses departing once an hour. We caught the 11:38 AM bus. The hotel's soundproofing is excellent; despite its proximity to the airport, it was surprisingly quiet.
Good location easy access by bus 111 from Heathrow and a short walk to Hounslow Central tube .
Bed very small for 2 people ,more like a small double and it sinking in the middle .
Breakfast ok tea was rotten
Would stay again if got it at a good price again
This Premier Inn proved to be the perfect solution for our early morning flight, eliminating the stress and uncertainty of commuting from central London. The strategic location on Bath Road makes it an ideal choice for travelers prioritizing convenience and peace of mind.
Check-in was refreshingly straightforward and efficient, allowing us to settle in quickly after a long day. The hotel maintained Premier Inn's reliable standards with clean, comfortable rooms that provided everything needed for a restful night before travel.
The room was spotless and well-maintained, reflecting the brand's consistent quality. We appreciated the comfortable bed and quiet environment, essential for getting proper rest before an early departure.
The paid shuttle bus service to the terminals is incredibly convenient and well-organized. While there's a small fee, the direct transport eliminates any worry about timing or navigation, making the short journey stress-free.
For anyone with early flights from Heathrow, this location offers excellent value by reducing travel anxiety and ensuring you arrive at the terminal refreshed and on time.
Highly recommended for hassle-free airport accommodation.
Convenient Location Near the Airport, but Check-In Process Needs Improvement
The hotel is conveniently located close to the airport, with just about a 10-minute bus ride to Heathrow. The room was clean and comfortable, providing a pleasant stay. However, the check-in process was quite slow, taking nearly half an hour to complete. This inefficiency was frustrating and detracted from an otherwise positive experience. Improving the check-in efficiency would greatly enhance the overall guest experience.
What a great place to stay, bright clean room. Good price with excellent buffet breakfast. . Staff are very helpful and nice.. can buy snack and the meal is reasonable price. Clean moden style hotel. Sky bar and bowling near by. Excellent entertainment before go to airport. So convenient to go to airport, just few minutes away from bus stop. Easy to go to london town centre as well.

Great
GGuest UserLocation is not too far from the airport. I had to call the hotel to find out which bus to get on at the airport. The room we stayed was great for a family of four two adults and two kids age of 11. Beds were comfortable and clean. The hotel offers good amenities and great complimentary English breakfast. Our kids really loved the breakfast and compllimentary drinks.
GGuest UserExcellent for 1 night stay to make sure you reach Heathrow Airport in time the next day. Bus 111, 105 and 278 allow easy access between the hotel and Central Bus Station at Terminal 2. The room is quiet and reasonably fitted, with clean bathroom. Breakfast is good. Hotel staff are friendly and helpful. There is a pub serving hot food not far from the hotel, but not much other choices, though.
GGuest UserThis is the second time I’ve stayed at the Radisson Red in the past month due to flying from Heathrow. It is also the second time that checking in was chaotic, with the self check in computers not working and this not being resolved with increased or quicker staff. Moreover, the staff have a habit of not making eye contact with you, not acknowledging you, not really managing the chaos or reassuring properly. In the end, I waited in a queue for around half an hour to check in. People are naturally tired when they get to an airport hotel- the staff need to show some awareness of that. Then in the morning, I asked when the next shuttle to heathrow was and was informed, 2 minutes. I waited for 25 minutes and no bus. I went back to reception to ask what was going on and was told ‘it’s heathrow that run the bus, not us.’ It was yet more unhelpful at tidied and an unwillingness to be at all accountable.
