The location is very nice and the staff are very friendly. The food was ok with plenty of vegetarian options, however it was not 5 star standard. The Italian restaurant was poor, possibly the worst I have been too. And as it is April the other speciality restaurants were not open. The drinks selection was very limited on the all inclusive package with the 1996 blue bar not included at all. The room was nice and kept clean and tidy, but to call it a swa view is a stretch and not worth paying extra for. The hotel at this time in April was only about 20% occupied so there were plenty of sun loungers and space by the pools. The restaurants were also spacious at this time, but if the hotel had of been full then there would no doubt have been long queues and no space. So this is a nice hotel for an early or late season break, but not a high season holiday. And it is 4 star at best.

We had a week all inclusive stay. This started with the chap at reception handing us a small snack bag and drink as we got to the hotel quite late. Lovely touch. The room was large, well equipped, cleaned everyday and fresh water left each day too. Comfy beds. We had a sea view which was nice. There are plenty of sunbeds. We spent a few days at the kids pool with our two boys which suited them perfectly. There is also a snack bar there with such lovely friendly staff. Again, cleaning was seen regularly and everyone polite. The other pool was good too, a little chilly but it was early in the season with the sun not quite hot enough to warm the water. Food: wow! Such a massive choice, changed every day. We are vegetarian and most days there was plenty of choice, very tasty. Also.plenty of choice for kids. Staff really friendly in the restaurant. Great salads! We didn't do any trips. The town is a short walk and worth it along the sea front as very picturesque. Lots of little shops, a fish feet spa was great, we recommend! We needed a doctor whilst there as my youngest son suffers with his ears. A very lovely Dr visits the hotel daily so this was easy to organise. There is also a pharmacy in town so easy to pick up some medicine for him. Overall fantastic place. Highly recommend. My only tip for them is to ditch the plastic cups round the pool and go fully with the reusable cups instead.

Went for an all inclusive one week holiday, off season, so the resort was fairly empty. Was not disappointed. It is true that it is not a real 5 star hotel but it is a very good one nonetheless. What went well: The staff was very helpful and friendly. The food was excellent. Lots of variety and healthy options (for breakfast too). Good salad choices, nice veggie options, food for kids... I have quite high standards and the food was tasty for sure. Drinks were served with a generous dose of alcohol. The bedroom and the resort were being cleaned and desinfected regularly. Even better if: The location is a bit remote. Even with a rented car, the nice places were easily 1h30 away so not always worth the trip. If are there to focus on going to beaches, and have a rented car, you will be fine. It seems that the south of the island and the west of the island are a bit nicer than this area. However, if you don't plan on moving around too much, it should be okay for you. We will probably go for an adult only resort next time as kids could be quite noisy, but it is not the resort's fault.

Lovely stay at the Vasia. We were upgraded on arrival which was lovely. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfy, aircon is good and there are water bottles and towels provided each day. Hotel has some friendly cats that live on site, they like to try and get your food but they're all very sweet. Staff are friendly and helpful, shout out to Anastasia and Julian both stand outs for us. I'm a vegetarian and the food was labelled clearly and was very tasty. Always lots of options. There was plenty of sunbeds so no need to reserve, the pools do not have lifeguards but they're all in eye shot of the beds and chairs. Hotel is a short walk into the town, which is up and down a hill so bare that in mind. It was about a 10-15 minute walk. Would 💯 visit again and recommend. Only Feedback: There was no GLUTEN FREE bread, cereal or pasta options which would have made my stay great as someone with coeliac disease.

We were really excited about this holiday! Having wanted to visit Crete for a long time, it was such a disappointment! This hotel is massively missold by Jet2! It's not beach front! It's seafront but the nearest beach is a bus ride away which the hotel does provide but you then have to pay for loungers and food and drink! I'm not tight at all this is not a problem if you are aware of this before you go! Entertainment was none existent! We saw 1 act in the 2 weeks which were good but that's not acceptable as frequent evening entertainment! We like lots going on in the daytime but again having booked this hotel as frequent daytime entertainment we were bitterly disappointed! 10 minutes of aquagym a day with the exact same playlist every day is not what we expected! Food was good, the omelettes at breakfast were lovely! As was the freshly squeezed orange juice! Lunch and dinner we also varied and good. The guy on reception Andy I think his name was, is quite frankly the rudest person I have ever met! I personally do not want to encounter passive aggressive reception staff in the hotel while I'm on holiday. If you are thinking of booking this hotel do yourself a favour and don't bother! Go to Rhodes instead that is an absolutely stunning island with some equally stunning hotels!

Been to Crete for the first time and spent 11 nights all-inclusive here being of October and we had a great time, On arriving we were told to leave our cases outside ( in England you would not do this as would get pinched ) we were taken into reception to be greeted by Andi who booked us in, said leave your bags here and took us into the dining room for a meal ( I did take my handbag in with me as had me cigs in ) had a lovely hot meal and welcome drink, Andi was lovely such a great guy always helpful with our mithering. The hotel is massive Our room was based at the back of the hotel so was really quite, plenty of cupboard space with tea and coffee facilities in room. We had clean towels in the bathroom each day along with pool towels, rooms were also cleaned everyday, bed was lovely and comfortable. With it being late season not all the bars were open so there was the pool bar snack bar along with the bar in reception, all the bar staff were lovely and worked really hard, all inclusive finished at 11pm again because it was end of season. The restaurant is very large and you can also eat outside but it does mean you have to keep using the stairs so we just used the indoor restaurant, now I am a fussy eater but honest you cannot fault the food at all meal times there is lots to choose from with chefs cooking hot food all the time, we also booked in for the Italian restaurant ( book in advance with reception ) and we had a lovely meal they also have a Greece night our friends went to that one and was not as good as the Italian. But I must say the restaurant manager Julian is a amazing guy he works so hard as do all the staff at this hotel but he always took time to have a chat with us and is very funny , all the staff are a credit to the hotel. The hotel has a separate children’s pool and play area with 2 large other pools, the pool was a bit cool but once in its fine, sun beds could do with some cushions but there are plenty around the pools. The hotel runs a free shuttle bus daily to their sister hotel in Stalis this is well worth doing as there is a lovely sandy beach there when you get taken into the receptionist you are given a card and you get 20% discount on food and drinks and beach sun beds. The harbour is about 10 to 15 minute walk and has lots of bars and shops. We really enjoyed our holiday and loved this hotel all the staff are amazing and so hard working and you cannot fault the hotel for its cleanliness.

Very nice resort, very clean, great staff and lovely food. The swimming pools were great but the sun loungers were awful, they are very uncomfortable and really need updating. Cocktail menu is poor for the all inclusive, there are a few more that you can buy but they are pricey. There was very little entertainment may have been because it was near the end of season. The village is beautiful with lovely shops and bars/restaurants and just 10 minutes walk from the hotel. I would definitely go again and hopefully they will have better sun loungers.

just home from spending the last 11 nights here and what a fantastic time we had from arriving at 9pm to be greeted by the lovely Andi on reception great guy and always so lovey and helpful we were then taken to the restaurant and served with hot chicken rice and salad along with a welcome drink really it was a lovely touch and very much appreciated after a long day. we where then taken to our room which was lovely plenty of wardrobe space could not fault our it at all or the lovely lady who cleaned our room each day leaving clean towels for the bathroom and for the sunbeds she greeted us most morning when we saw with a lovely smile. yes it was coming to the end end of the season and we knew this before we booked so was not expecting a full on entertainment, basically we go away for the rest and for a good time and certainly got that Sissi is a beautiful little place only a 10 minute walk to the beautiful harbour again if you want it busy then go in high season. we were all inclusive and honest you really cannot fault the choose of food at all meal times with lots of variety to choose from and hot food being freshly cooked morning always omelettes fresh fried eggs and pancakes and in the evening a variety of hot cooked foods on the go, if you find the food not hot enough for your liking then there is a microwave in the dining area don't moan just use the microwave. Big thanks to Maria who served us most days with our drinks working so hard along with all the restaurant staff who work so hard keeping everything spotlessly clean. And then we have the restaurant manager well what can we say about this lovely guy Julian such a pleasure he has a constant smile on his face and always takes time out to chat with you. The pool was a bit chilly getting in but again the temperatures are not as hot as in high season the pools are great with a complete separate children’s pools with slides. There are plenty of sun beds around all the pools but sun beds could do with some padded cushions. The pool bar was our favourite place to have a drink in the afternoons and evening after our evening meal again lots of seating area and the bar staff were amazing all working long shifts and always so pleasant taking time for a chat and the twin sisters are very hard to tell apart. Another plus is the hotel runs a free shuttle bus I think each day to their sister hotel in Stalis this is well worth doing as there is a lovely sandy beach there when you get taken into the receptionist you are given a card and you get 20% discount on food and drinks and beach sun beds but if you go along the beach you can use the sun beds for free as long as you buy food or a drink and prices are not bad we went to Dohai bar they had just opened and the service was great We loved our holiday here the hotel is lovely and spotlessly clean and the staff are amazing and so hard working going out of their way to make your holiday , Thank you to you all
