Me and my daughter came here for a week's holiday , we couldn't fault it. We've never visited Greece before and chose Skopelos for its Mamma Mia connection. It's a typical Greek hotel, very traditional. Rooms are cleaned every day and all the staff are friendly, there may be a small language barrier at times but thats because people expect them to speak English and that's not their 1st language. The reception staff were very helpful (I locked my safe incorrectly within the 1st hour of getting there and this was sorted out in minutes ) Breakfast had everything we needed to set us up for the morning. The poolside food menu for lunch was delicious, we had omelettes, Greek and Caesar salads and they were all delicious and made to order. Big shout-out to George at the pool bar , couldn't do enough to help everyone. We had many conversations with him during our time there. It's listed as a 3 Star hotel so expect 3 star type accommodation but this comes with 5 star customer service 😊

The hotel itself was dated and there was a really creepy looking mannequin in the entrance, not the best start after the massive hill to get there. The rooms were clean and well looked after, fresh towels every day, although it had become a bit of a nest for bugs, wondering if that’s why I was bitten so many times. The reception staff were always very welcoming and happy to help. And that followed on with the poolside staff, a special mention to George who found out I was planning on proposing to my girlfriend, he set up wine to be put in our room the next day which was a very nice touch! The pool area, bar area and the area where there were sofas to relax on were perfect. Overall we had an amazing time, thank you.

I loved my stay here it just felt like a lovely place to be. The rooms are spotless, simple, but with everything you need. The bathroom isn't massive, but it's kept so clean which to me is the main thing. It's a traditional hotel with lots of character and in a lovely peaceful location yet only a short walk from the centre of Skopelos Town. The pool is great with enough loungers for everyone. The pool bar was fabulous and the bar people were lovely, I wish I could remember their names but I'm rubbish at that. The bar food was great. Yes the beds are firm, but I actually think after a few nights it was better for my back and maybe we have beds that are too soft. If you want a hotel close to town with a great pool, lovely people who if you ask will deliver and in a lovely location that's spotless stay here.

This hotel is traditionally Greek and very comfortable. From the start the guy who collected or luggage from the port made an excellent impression on us . The facilities are excellent, rooms clean and towels changed daily. Ours cleaners were friendly and worked really hard. They were gems xx The hotel is in an excellent location near to the port and the beautiful streets of Skopelos, idyllic. Ninita on reception and the young man ( we don’t recall his name) were excellent host and very helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for them and their smiles and lovely personalities brightened up every day . The buffet breakfast was plentiful and those who complain about it are just being picky! The breakfast staff constantly observe empty tables and discreetly clean up and tidy up empty plates. Yes , they may not converse with guests but I think this is more of a language barrier. We enjoyed lovely days by the beautiful pool and used the pool bar daily , what we couldn’t fathom out was all the hype with previous reviews about George the bar man??? We tried to talk to him regularly when making our orders and he just blanked us, and if I’m honest seemed quite rude. He spoke perfect English being brought up in Canada so I can only assume his customer service is ‘ selective’ . It’s a shame that the only downside of this hotel is George . That said we definitely would return to this hotel and recommend to our friends - might avoid George though !!

This is a family run, traditional Greek hotel. Charming and welcoming but not luxurious. The rooms are basic, but clean and air-conditioned. Some bathrooms are better than others so be prepared for a basic Greek shower! The staff are lovely, especially Nineta on reception. The pool is very pleasant, with plenty of loungers, a bar and convenient showers/toilets. Surrounded by the hillsides of Skopelos, it offers a lovely vista. For those wanting easy access to the town it is perfectly located, just a few minutes walk to a wealth of restaurants, shops and bars. The bus station is also just five minutes' walk away, adjacent to the port - convenient for seeing more of the island. The clientele at the hotel is international, and tends more towards the older generation and couples so this isn't an ideal hotel for bored teenagers seeking entertainment!

Just returned from a fantastic two weeks at the Dionyssos. Lovely hotel amazing staff. Rooms are spacious and cleaned daily. Comfortable beds, especially if you have a bad back. Fridge and hair dryer in the room, there is no kettle in the room. However, this was not an issue for us as we took an element, so we were able to make coffee. Breakfast is buffet style with plenty of choice. Lovely pool. Pool bar open daily, serving a selection of drinks and snacks. The hotel is close to all the restaurants and just a short stroll into Skopolas town. George and Rudy will ensure that you have a faboulas time.

Reception staff & George the bar man all friendly & helpful. Cleaners (joke) disgrace, same dust & dirt under beds, long black hairs in bathroom ( wife blonde, me shaved) so wasn't ours. Miserable breakfast staff. Pool & terracing area excellent. Good holiday but wouldn't go back.

We have just returned and had a wonderful time. The hotel is not perfect, my bathroom needed a refurb but the other room we had, had a lovely bathroom (it’s a 3 star, if you want better, pay more) The hotel is clean and comfortable. Other reviews complain about hard beds, in my experience this is typical in Greece, however, I didn’t think the bed was hard. The pool and bar area are lovely and the reception staff are friendly as are most of the bar staff! One was an exception and he appeared to be rude, however will put that down to maybe being new. There was a good choice at breakfast, pastries, eggs, bacon, sausage, cheese, ham, breads, yoghurts and fruit. The hotel is in a great location with lots of bars and restaurants within a few minutes walk. I would not hesitate to stay here again. Skopelos is idyllic and would also recommend Defra semi private cruise and the Mamma Mia Tour. Buses and Taxis are widely available.
