Aperitton Hotel

A really nice and clean hotel. We've enjoyed our stay immensly. The owners gave us a warm welcome upon our arrival and they were very helpful. The parking spaces are just outside of the hotel. Thank you as well, for the goodie bag! How thoughtful and a nice gesture :-)

We booked direct with the hotel as part of an island hopping trip, when arrived in skopelos we got a taxi up to the hotel which cost 8 euros, worth doing. Hotel owners very friendly and helpful, and provided recommendations depending on your request. Breakfast was continental and plentiful. Having the pool was a bonus, hotel provided pool towels and also a kettle for the room when asked. Room was large, clean with a reasonable size balcony and we had a quiet and partial sea view room. We also had a free gift on arrival of olive oil and olive jam. Would definitely stay there again.

We had an amazing experience at this hotel! The staff/owners were all extremely friendly and went above and beyond to help us plan our days around the island! All of their recommendations were great and we would gladly stay here again in the future!

This hotel was extremely clean and the staff were exceptional. The view from our room was across the mountains which was really nice to wake up too. Breakfast was continental with a good selection. The staff were always welcoming and ready to help with places to visit, sorting out car hire and local restaurants. The walk into town is through so lovely little streets with great shops. Loved our stay and would recommend and return. Thank you for making us so welcome.

The Hotel is up a hill but the views are great and the walk down to the port area via the cobbled street isn’t too bad. Nice pool area with a bar. The staff were really helpful, we had a small problem with a double bedroom not a twin room but it was easily sorted out. We were provided with a new hairdryer and even a washing line with pegs so we could do a little island hopping washing. Nice breakfast with again a great seating area and views. Lovely stay

Disappointed with the location of this hotel as did not realise it was located on a busy road. Our room was spacious with a good size balcony although not very private with the next door rooms. Beds were very hard, no mattress protectors or duvet just sheets. Hotel clean and tidy but lacked any ambience. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast basic. Walk into town was down the narrow cobbled lanes where you had to be careful you did not get run over by mopeds. This was my least favourite hotel on our island hopping experience.

The staff at this hotel were very good. Friendly and helpful. It was shaping up for a bad start as the area that the room we had booked (2nd floor) was having some remedial work done and the view from the first floor wouldn’t be as good. Gracious apologies and a price reduction eased the problem away and the sea view was only slightly lessened. Handled well. The room was good, fairly spacious but did not have a kettle (in fairness we never asked at reception to see if we could get one) Everything worked etc. Breakfast was fine. We had been spoiled at a previous hotel but that was an unfair comparison; there were cold meats & cheeses, breads, cakes, pastries, hard boiled eggs, fresh yoghurt, fruits and preserves. Water, juice, Coffee and tea on tap too. Mustn’t grumble!! The pool is a good size with loungers around it, albeit suffering slightly from its situation beside the road (called the ring road but it’s not a UK style ring road). The main “con” for us was noise. The road is not constantly busy but the scooters are noisy and there’s a quite busy little lane behind the hotel. The hotel doors can be shut quietly using the key but (a) it takes a day to work that out and (b) some people don’t bother so (c) there can be loud door banging which carries down corridors. In truth I would call these minor irritants but I think our room was auspiciously placed to minimise the noise. In all it is a a pretty good hotel and we wouldn’t be Particularly unhappy to stay again.

The hotel is lovely, well kept & spacious rooms. Most days we had the pool either to ourselves or with just one other couple. There was no rush to get a sun bed even in peak season. The hotel provided pool towels which was really useful and they also had a pool bar where you could get cold drinks for by the pool. The staff were lovely, so helpful and welcoming - I felt like I could ask for help with anything and they would of helped! The breakfast was continental with a few hot choices some days such as eggs and bacon. I really enjoyed the Skopelos pie at breakfast, it was so sweet and delicious! The only down side to this hotel is the walk to get to it from the port. Google maps shows it as 9 minutes which sounds fantastic but due to the steep hills, it is a very intense and hard 9 minutes! I would say you need to be physically able and fit to go to this hotel. Also a few times we did try to get a taxi (for example when we had our luggage) and there was a huge wait with very limited taxis available. When lucky to finally get a taxi he then did not want to take us to this hotel as the fair was too little and instead took the people behind us which led to us having to walk every time. As mentioned, if fit and able this will not be a problem for you but it is something to consider if mobility is an issue. We did also use a bus to visit Stafylos beach and the buses were very easy to use and got you there quickly. Overall brilliant stay & lovely hotel!
