I spent 11 nights at this hotel having travelled with Jet2 Holiday. I have travelled extensively from Costa Rica and St Lucia in the west to India in the east and many of the hotels I have stayed in were all inclusive. When I first arrived at this hotel the first thing I did when I arrived in my room was open the door to the balcony. I couldn't believe the view. It was unbelievable and I thought at first it was a picture. One of the best views from a hotel I have ever had. Unfortunately it didn't stay like that as the second thing I noticed was a quite big yellow stain on the carpet. I am not sure if this was an iron burn or something more sinister but I chose not to stand on it. Other than that the room was fairly ordinary and kind if lacked any features. It was however kept very clean by the daily cleaners. The hotel in general lacked a bit of personality with most ot being paited white. Another thing that I found bizarre was what was classed as that lounge bar which was basically a large wide corridor which lead to the dining room. As a result it lacked atmosphere. The pool bar was small with white plastic tables and chairs most of which were damaged and in fairly poor condition. The area roundabout the pool also had a large selection of white plastic loungers so there was never a problem getting one although after lying on them for a short period they became uncomfortable. To be fair the hotel shop sold covers for them at €26 a pop. Next the food. I thought it was fair good and well cooked even if it nit the best I have ever had. Next the drinks and this was one of my biggest bug bears. I drink Bacardi/ white rum and nowadays virtually nothing else. My problem was that this place did not have any. Neither bacardi or cheaper white rum. I did try their dark rum but it tasted like someone had brewed it in a shed so I gave that a miss. As a result I was in bed most nights by 9.30. At the start of this I said that I have travelled extensively and never before have I come across a hotel that didn't stock white rum even the cheap stuff. Surely, on holiday, I should get to drink what I want to drink and not what a hotel dictates. Overall I think hotel is just a little bit scruffy but with a bit of investment could be upgraded instead of being down graded by Jet2. I would also suggest a mini bus or similar to get people into Slano as I was told it was a 20 minute walk but in the heat it took me more like 40 or 45 minutes Even if the hotel made a small charge for it it it cost me €10 for a taxi the first time then €15 the second time. Someone got their sums wrong !

A lovely modern hotel set in a beautiful idyllic location and within a 30 minute walk to Slano. There is a lovely walk along a coastal path leading from the hotel to the village. There are ample of bikes available at the hotel. The free use of pedaloes, kayaks, paddleboards was an added bonus. The pool area attendant worked very hard and patrolled the waterfront, doing his best to keep guests safe. The sunbeds have no cushions but the shop at the hotel sell them costing €18 and a must. The rooms were modern, spotless and aircon was perfect ( v quiet). The restaurant was never overcrowded and the food was fresh with ample of choice. All the staff are friendly and work very hard. Overall, we had a relaxing holiday. Will definitely return to Hotel Osmine.

We are on day 6 of our stay at the Osmine Hotel. Although it is a little remote, the hotel is spotless, so clean in fact I walked into the closed doors leading to the balcony in my room as they were so clean I thought they were open! The bed is probably the most comfortable I’ve slept in on holiday. The food is lovely, cooked fresh and a good variety. The staff aren’t over friendly but they’re polite, and our tables were cleared of plates and cutlery as soon as we had finished. The Hotel is situated right on the most beautiful private beach. The staff work hard to make sure everything is perfect. Literally the only down side was no kettle in the room for making a cuppa in the morning. Well done Hotel Osmine. Thank you for a lovely time.

Lovely hotel with the only sound being the chirruping of the birds from dawn to dusk. Boat trips organised from the beach to various places. Events every day but never went, so not sure if they were in English. Food was very good with some local dishes and lots of fish. Only negatives were the lack of tea/coffee making facilities in the room and access to tea or coffee limited to the times the restaurants or bars are open. Also, people without car hire found themselves a long way out of Dubrovnik and fairly stranded, with taxis costing a lot.

I’ll start with the positives. The hotel is in an absolutely beautiful location. Having access to canoes and boats with slides and bikes was brilliant. Cox and his wife from the entertainment team saved our holiday. They really are a credit to the hotel. And the cons…the food was terrible. As adults we struggled to find something to eat every day, every meal. The children lived off bread and butter and fruit as there was nothing suitable for them and they are not fussy eaters. The majority of the staff were grumpy, there’s an older gentleman that runs the breakfast service who smacked my daughter’s hand away from the pancake machine one morning. The first room we had was absolutely infested with ants. My youngest woke up with bites all over her, but luckily they moved us rooms. You couldn’t change your beach towels unless you left them in your room. I wouldn’t say this hotel is suitable for small children. Unfortunately, we wouldn’t return, such a shame as this hotel has so much potential.

I really don’t know how this hotel has a 4 star rating. There is no kettle in the rooms, no access to drinking water, rooms aren’t cleaned every day and the food is mediocre. Our room had flaked paint from the woodwork on the floor on arrival, the room wasn’t hoovered at all in the week we stayed, although the bathroom was cleaned and towels replaced. On our last day, my daughter found a large hair in her omelette. Only one mentally staff appeared friendly , the rest were reserved to the point of being rude. The pillows on our beds were lumpy and unsuitable, although we did get replacements when we asked. Snacks were not varied or enticing, we were all inclusive. The hotel is literally miles from anywhere, which does provide a secluded beach, however with no access to drinking water it is limiting. My daughter walked to the village of Slano, and bought bottled water. The walk takes around an hour all in. During our stay we went on the island cruise, good value and very enjoyable. However, hotel staff seemed annoyed they had to book it for us. Payment is cash only. We also went to Montenegro on a day trip, booked via Jet2 . This is definitely worth doing. The beach is stunning, but the extremely uncomfortable sun loungers were awful! No cushions or covers available. All on, a beautiful setting somewhat tempered by a mediocre hotel experience.

Me and my partner booked this as a last minute get away. We were happy that we found a 4* for a what appears to be a reasonable price in a country we wanted to visit. However when we arrived it soon became clear that this was not a 4* establishment or service even when the package cost just over £700pp (and the fact this increases later in the year is terrible). we are clearly not the only people that think this based on trip-adviser and hearing other people in the hotel. Quite frankly we have stayed in better 2 stars than hotel osmine. We requested a hotel move as soon as we checked in for reasons that I outline later but where told that our rep would contact us and the reasons we were upset was dismissed. We spoke with Toni (jet 2 rep) the day after arrival he was very understanding and considerate of why we were upset. He explained that there would be a massive price increase to move hotel which we where not happy to pay on top of an already expensive last minute trip. He arranged for us to move rooms however this did not help our overall situation. We even thought about going home early however managed to scrape through for the week. Pros- nice views and room clean. Dubrovnik Center very cool if you manage to make your way there (however extremely expensive). Cons- 1. No cocktails included in all inclusive a simple “sex on the beach” was an extra charge. No drinks such as gin and tonic. 2. There was no air conditioning working in our room. When we asked reception about this they said that it was not hot enough yet to turn it on. Multiple nights we did not sleep due to high temperatures in the room. Which for a 4 star is ridiculous. Air conditioning should be a standard for a 4* 3. Staff often rude and unhelpful. And made you feel like a burden when asking about anything. 4. Soft drinks poor- unbranded and not nice tasting, Coffee also poor- when machines were working and wines undrinkable. Tiny glasses given with drinks- beer possibly a quarter pint? And soft drinks even less than that. 5. No iron or coffee & tea making facilities which for a 4* should be a given. States that there is a TV in the room however there is absolutely no English’s channels and subtitles did not come on. No way of connecting phone to stream or use personal streaming service. 6. Lunch and dinner only available 2 hours at a time making meal times very busy and very restrictive of when you can eat. 7. Food was very poor in general (mains one night turkey nugget’s and fried shark). 8. Snacks during the day were served at 16:30 (usually chips, fish and fruit) however this would be overrun with people and service would stop if food ran out which it did most days and meant waiting in a line for 20 minutes at times. Evening snacks served at 2300 however very little choice and at times this was removed at 23:30 9. The one and only place you could get a drink during the day was the pool bar which was a 15 minute walk from the rooms therefore having a balcony

Fantastic little hotel, it’s a hidden gem if you like quietness. Food was delicious and such a beautiful and clean hotel. Beach is amazing and very quiet. Take your shoes for the sea, some lovely fish. We will be back. A great stay, thank you. Rob & Sally Belton
