This hotel is beautiful, very clean, great food and service. The pool area is nice and they look after you putting umbrellas up and giving you nice towels. Great to have its own private beach too. It was my birthday and they delivered chocolates all wrapped up nicely to the room, lovely touch.

Set in a gorgeous picturesque village with gorgeous bays and mountains it really gives you that chill out wow factor. Rooms are a very nice size with a good size bathroom and balcony. I was top floor 3rd floor room 301 with a magnificent view out across the bay. Hotel overall extremely clean. Lovely near on private beach. You could always get a sun bed around by the pool, even in the middle of the afternoon. Food was fairly basic, I would always find something really nice to eat. Not the biggest of choice but still very nice. You can drink the tap water here, yet in the restaurant you have to pay for bottle water which I thought was quite unfair. After dinner could be quite boring. In the 7 nights I stayed I think only 2 nights we had evening entertainment. Found by 9:30pm 90% of guests had gone to bed. Opposite the hotel there's a small supermarket, post office and bus stop. Within 2 minutes walk you have a ice parlour, 3 restaurants, 1 bar 1 bakery and 2 souvenir shops. There's a beautiful marina 5 minutes walk away. I booked this hotel as a 4 star hotel, and thats exactly what I got. On the sign Outside it says 5 star hotel. But it's a very good 4 star hotel. If you want a week of totally relaxation then book here. Ignore the bad reviews this is a lovely hotel. Definitely book a sea view room.

Beautiful hotel, lived up to its 5 star rating. Food is great and service has been fantastic. Drinks- a little pricey, you have to pay for bottled water at meals or drink the house wine which is about 10-20€ glass/bottle. Breakfast - a wide variety of choices ranging from cereal, cooked, pancakes, cold meats and cheeses, fresh fruit and juices. Lots of nuts and dried fruit to add to cereal and yogurt. Coffee a bit strong for me, added some hot water which made it ok, husband thought coffee was brilliant , he’s a bit of a coffee snob so clearly it’s ok. Lots of teas, fruits and breakfast etc. lovely to sit on the sea front looking out to sea with the sun and ripples from fish in the water.

This hotel deserves a 2 stars really, not 3.... For the 2 smiles I received through my stay from staff. We (30 of us) came with a tour of Croatia for 2 weeks. This was the last city we stayed at for 3 nights. Out of all the hotels (all 5 ⭐) this was the least favorite for most of us. The rudeness of the staff, specially in the restaurant and the bar really is something that they need to work on. I personally saw ONLY 2 smiles throughout my stay. One was the cleaning lady for our room and the other was the female manager that I saw on the 30th of Aug. To be barked at by the staff is the reason why most of us won't return to this hotel. The hotel was the most quiet out of all the other places we had stayed at. And the cheapest when it came to service. No conditioner, no lotion no complimentary water in the rooms!! When we asked for more coffee packs we were told only 1 pack per stay!! For the cream for the coffee, I had to go downstairs to the bar and pay .50 € for it. I couldn't even take the wine I payed for from my room fridge to the restaurant. NOT a friendly hotel to spend your vacation in. All it has is a nice view and clean room.

First impressions were good, clean though a bit dated. Check in wasn’t for two hours (3pm) but receptionist did offer changing facilities in the spa and I could leave baggage in a room (worried me that it was full of cases and not locked) Met the Jet2 rep, Maggie, who’s probably the most helpful rep I’ve dealt with. Positives + Clean + Location - straight on the beach and in the sea which is nice. + Friendly/helpful staff Negatives + Noisy room - walls/ceilings very thin. Requested to be moved on first day but nothing happened (was like baby elephants in room above) + Coffee and Tea - not replenished in room. One of each to last a week is quite ridiculous these days. Very poor! + Drinks - having to pay for water with evening meal on a half board holiday basis is ridiculous. €5 per bottle (€1 in shop across the road) if I’d wanted beer or mine fair enough but water should be free with the price of the holiday + Repetitive buffet food and most meats covered in sauces. Slano is very nice and relaxed. 40 mins from Dubrovnik, so you can visit easily. Avoid Flix bus. Trips to Mostar are long. Not the distance, but time to get over boarder (90 mins each way) also it was mentioned they will be introducing biometric scans for everyone on the coach adding a further hour from September 2025. Too many people on the coach for one guide in Mostar (one hour)

We have just arrived back from a week long stay at the Admiral Grand Hotel celebrating our wedding anniversary. The hotel is excellent in pretty much all areas, rooms are serviced daily, decent size, air con is good…shower is excellent!! There are numerous pools indoor and outdoor door, the beach is pebbly with plenty of sun beds and fresh towels, no need to rush down in the morning to secure a bed as they were always available throughout the day. Breakfast was excellent and everything was cooked fresh and replenished constantly, dinner was a little hit or miss, lots of choices available and fresh also, we found some days the meat was a bit tough! We do feel they should have been offered water for free with your meal, it’s a 5 star hotel but no! you had to buy your water, on the whole no complaints. WiFi is excellent even on the beach. The downside for us, nothing to do with the hotel l might add was the location, seriously quiet at night and no entertainment to speak about anywhere! Small offerings of alternative bars & restaurants…and mean just a handful, one or two walks to the harbour, takes all of 10 minutes to do and that’s your evening strolling done. We took a boat ride from the harbour to Dubrovnik for the day €95 to the two of us, we also went again on public transport €4.10 each, Dubrovnik is worth a day out for sure but both days we went it was completely mobbed & including the harbour.. If sitting on a beach reading your book and dipping in and out the sea is your thing this location is perfect! If you want a little entertainment & options of bars & restaurants and evening strolls looking into of shops forget there’s non to speak off! In summary l’d definitely stay at the hotel again if it was in a entirely different location.

I stayed at Hotel Admiral in Slano for a week, and overall the experience was good, with a few remarks. The room was clean and comfortable, with a beautiful view. Breakfast was decent, but the coffee in the restaurant was very poor. There’s no coffee machine in the room, only a single instant coffee sachet as a “welcome drink,” which is not replenished during the stay — unusual for a hotel of this status. For morning coffee in the room, I recommend using room service, it worked well for me. The hotel has its own beach right in front, which is a big plus, but the beach service is quite minimal: you have to do everything yourself. Also, for a hotel of this category, the daily issuing and returning of beach towels feels a bit outdated. During my stay, I noticed that most of the guests were older, making the atmosphere calm and quiet.

When my husband was taken ill on holiday at the Admiral, the Staff could not have been more caring and helpful. Miss Branca, the General Manager, visited him in the hospital, an hour away, l to ensure he was ok. During the whole of our extended stay, the hotel staff were exemplary.
