Arrived with no real expectations having been disappointed by the packed campsites in Stockholm. So glad we decided to move on to this area and camping. Was going to stay two nights ended up being 3. Good facilities, by the canal and easy access to the town Great cycling in the area also. Bit more expensive than usual but worth it. Would visit again

when trying to rent bike in the area of Soderkoping, having called many hotels who only had two available, i found the single place that could help: skeppdockans camping. Linnea reserved us a couple bikes, in very good shape, 3 speed and with a front basket. Upon arrival Linnea gave us a warm welcome, helped us being set for the bike tour, and also for the return to our hotel afterwards. We could have a great day in gota canal mostly because of Linnea. If you visit the area, i strongly recommend to rent your bikes here, 44€ per day, 20 meters from the canal

Sehr schön gelegener Campingplatz am Götakanal. Radwege entlang des Kanals. Söderköping und alle Geschäfte sind auch gut zu Fuß erreichbar. Jetzt nach unserem Aufenthalt in Stockholm, können wir bestätigen, das in Söderköping die beste Eisdiele ist. Der Campingplatz ist gepflegt. Die sanitären Einrichtungen top. In der kleinen Küche steht eine klasse, kostenlos zu nutzende, Geschirrspülmaschine. Die MitarbeiterInnen sind freundlich und nett und achten sehr darauf,das die sanitär Einrichtungen immer sehr sauber sind. PS: Für RadfahrerInnen in der Nähe des ICA Supermarktes gibt es eine kleine Fahrradwerkstatt, der Besitzer ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit. In Norrköping haben wir unsere zwei Alu-Gasflaschen problemlos auffüllen können.
