Meg-Lozenetz Hotel

The attitude of the receptionist was unprofessional, rude and unacceptable. For one hour, the whole hotel didn’t know how to charge my credit card, as their credit card machine doesn’t follow EU rules for 3D security, thus jeopardising clients’ private data. I wasted a full hour on the phone with my bank, only to find out that the hotel doesn’t follow rules on how to securely handle credit card data. The management kept telling me that it’s my fault, despite the fact I never before have had problems with card payments before. Breakfast food was decent, with a choice between a couple of set menus. The hotel was clean, rooms were quiet, and it was situated and in a convenient location, within 3-4 minutes from the nearest metro station. Some of the photos on their site are dated, as the interior is different now.

Sofia visit Very large comfortable room, very clean. Beautiful window and balcony with greenery. It was quite and pleasant. The staff was professional and very helpful. There is a paid parking (15 euro/24 hours) in front of the hotel, but we parked on the street - it is free during holidays. Safe, green area, at a walking distance to shopping, attractions, restaurants.

A very nice hotel, totally clean throughout, and very friendly staff, would definitely stay here again.

The hotel had a great location and the room was comfortable. However, the breakfast service could be improved for business travelers, especially on weekends. Stat time at 8:30 am on Saturday meant missed breakfast for who is working or has to leave early. It would be smart if the hotel could consider offering an earlier breakfast option, particularly on Saturdays and Sundays, to cater to guests with busy schedules.

Hotel overpriced The hotelrooms are not well maintained. The entrance to the bathroom is not looking good. Breakfast was two mornings served 15 minutes too late.
