Seorak Hot Spring Mammoth Resotel Reviews

Good and very warm welcoming hotel in the heart of Seorak mountain national park. You have big rooms, simple self-service breakfast and free self-service laundry if you need. Beautiful views in a foot-step distance, and the Seoraksan cable car in 3 minute drive (or 20 min walk).

I have stayed here before to hike Seoraksan. This time, I had a nicer room; however, because it is near the mountains and older, there was a huge house centipede on the ceiling when I got there. Luckily, the bug spray they had worked on it. Other than that, there were some small stains on the bedding, but everything else was clean. The bed was comfortable, and the location is about 55 minutes walking distance from Seoraksan National Park. It's only about an 8 minute taxi drive there if not too much traffic. There is a beautiful river/stream nearby. This place is also only about a 16 minute drive from the Sokcho Express Bus Terminal. Obviously, I like this place enough to stay again. Breakfast was toast, cereal, and you could make eggs/a toast sandwich I believe.

Well located for the park, just a short bus journey. Staff were helpful and the self service breakfast in the morning was good value and appreciated. A little tired but that seems to be the case for most the places we saw in the area. A good choice for this area.

While the building had been renovated, it still felt quite dated overall. The abandoned buildings in the vicinity made the atmosphere a bit unpleasant. However, considering the price, I suppose it's understandable.

The location is excellent, incredibly close to Seoraksan National Park. While it's an older building, the interior is remarkably clean and appears to have been recently renovated. You can tell they pay close attention to detail, as the sheets, sink, and cooking utensils were all spotless and well-maintained. We also made use of the barbecue area, and the presence of a cute dog made the experience even more delightful. I'll definitely be back!

The hotel was quite cold. There's an electric blanket on the bed, which I definitely recommend turning on. Also, the cooking equipment provided was rather limited.

The location is excellent, and it offers great value for money with outstanding facilities and service. The owner was also very friendly. I would definitely stay here again!

Located in an excellent place in the mountains. Excellent place when escaping the hustle and bustle of city life. Close to the tourist attractions, Seoraksan National Park and other places are a short bus ride away. The room was clean with a comfortable bed. Bathroom could be cleaner in terms of the sinks and forceps. The staff is very nice. They don’t clean your room without your permission. Also free water, ramen, drinks and few mini toiletries. I’d definitely stay there again when I visit Sokcho again.

The room was clean and very good. The price was not expensive. I would definitely come again.

I stayed there for three days and it was very clean. The staff were friendly and the service was great. They even provided coffee and iced drinks. Breakfast was also provided. I didn't get to use it because I was late, but I liked the location. There's a bus that takes you to Seoraksan in 10 minutes, which was very convenient. It was also very quiet. I think I'll stay here again.

I have stayed at this hotel before and booked another night. The price includes breakfast: eggs, toast, jam, cheese, cereal, milk - just what you need to get your strength up before heading to the national park.
