The Kasauli property is excellent... The staff is outstanding, very helpful and courteous. Food was also very well made. The GM, Mr. Ravi was always very helpful and helped us for various questions we had. Overall a superb place and highly recommended.

A perfect setting in the hills. Neatly appointed rooms. Clean linen. Must add- the bathrooms are thoughtfully designed ( rarely seen in most hotels) . Staff was courteous and friendly, always willing to assist. Mr Ravi , the GM runs a well oiled show! 👏 We had a wonderful stay. This is a ‘go to’ destination for relaxation and serenity.

We had our CLASS REUNION at the Baikunth Resort in the last week of March 2024 and stayed 3 nights with 10 couples and needless to say that the Property is most fascinatingly beautiful and we were looked after by their GM - Mr. Ravi Gurung. Each one of our friends gave a 5 star review for their Stay and FnB Arvind Mahajan

Our room was very nice with an exceptional view. The food was delicious. Hence the 4 stars. I so nearly left 3, because on all other fronts there was a sense of disconnect. Before arriving quite late and despite emails and messages from the hotel confirming our stay, we tried to respond several ways to advise them of our late arrival time. The reply was always , ‘sorry we don’t take incoming messages.’ When we did arrive , reception is in a separate building with its own car park - up two flights of stone steps. Thankfully we did not carry our bags up there on arrival because after checking in we had to drive to another car park and climb even more steps to reach our room. This was set ‘motel style’ in a building away from the main hotel. A series of dark paths awaited our venturing out to find dinner. No signposts or proper lighting were in place to help us. No staff could be found and we felt tired after a difficult journey. After several abortive attempts we found an unlit dining room overlooking a nice garden where a party was taking place. Once a member of staff realised we had just arrived, he showed us back to the dining room and we were served a very nice dinner. His courteous attention retrieved the situation. Thankfully a waiter showed us back to our room. At breakfast, the food looked nice but most plates and jars had no serving spoons or tongs. Checkout was not available in the main building. We had to venture down three flights of outdoor steps to do so. This hotel feels as if it is all dressed up but with no captain at the helm. Such a shame because it has the makings of something so much better.

I recently enjoyed a delightful 3-day family outing (26th Jan'24-28th Jan'24) at Baikunth. The hotel's prime location and overall property left a positive impression on us, creating a memorable experience. The location of the hotel is undoubtedly one of its strongest assets. The property itself is well-maintained, with inviting amenities and a charming atmosphere that enhanced our stay. While our overall experience was positive, there are a couple of aspects I believe warrant attention. Firstly, the cost of the food at the hotel's dining facilities struck me as quite high. While the quality of the cuisine was commendable, I couldn't help but feel that the pricing might be a bit steep for families. A more balanced and reasonably priced menu could make dining at the hotel a more accessible option for guests. Additionally, I observed that the breakfast spread, while satisfactory, could benefit from a bit more variety. A wider selection of options would cater to diverse tastes and dietary preferences, ensuring that every guest finds something to their liking.

My stay at Baikunth could’ve been better. The biggest problem was the staff was more focused on shooing away a very scared malnourished dog on the property with its 5 babies which have been there for a while rather than maintaining and keeping up with the quality of the resort. There is no one available at the property post 10:30-11 pm. Like if there’s an emergency at the resort there is no one at the front desk or reception, so I found that very odd & risky as a traveller. If the staff goes home at least one or two people should be there from the staff so answer any emergency calls or for any help. Like how the rest of the hospitality industry functions. Coming to the property it's not bad and has potential but they have just not maintained it well. For starters restaurant needs to be clean/hygienic, stained mats and chairs and even table wasn't that well kept. Food needs a huge improvement the quality of the food isn't that good, like the dal makhni was like cream and brownie was like rubber even the gulab jamun tasted weird, breakfast needs serious improvement, whether it's the coffee or idli or parantha the food items had too much TURMERIC in it. So yes the food quality and restaurant needs a huge improvement. They can do it but it seems like they don’t bother much on the maintenance & quality bit. Some staff is really polite some are less attentive Rooms need improvement they need to properly make the beds with a comforter on it, the bed just had a throw which again looked rusty old and dirty. Bathrooms were decent but pots again seemed too ancient and had some defects so all these things need major improvement since they charge quite a bit. In comparison to properties around them like Daleside ***or which has been named on the Condenast list, we checked that out and it was so beautiful, so clean hygienic and organised, we regretted not staying there. Overall I feel the staff should focus more on improving on their cleanliness hygiene service and maintenance/quality of resort than chasing some scared dog puppies on the property. The puppies didn’t even bother the guests since they seemed petrified. For the 3 days I was there I fed them for 1 day and next day the staff had removed the scared puppies. Infact we rather enjoyed having those puppies around and frankly even the guests who aren’t dog friendly didn’t mind coz the puppies were so scared of hu***s. This whole experience left a bitter taste in my mouth. I expected more from the property seeing the website and claims. They seem to have become complacent about the resort and only care about bookings and not improvement of the property.

We visited Baikunth in Apr 2022 and our stay was a memorable one. Right from pre booking to checkin to all facilities, everything was spotless. The staff is extremely helpful, always attentive and happy to help. The chef gets 5 stars…lovely food..the presentation, taste and the quality was top notch across different cuisines. Vasundhara at the reception was always helpful and guided us to some good spots and deals for our leisure and shopping. The hotel has paid lot of attention to tiny details like: 1. Having a hold bar in the shower area for elderly to latch on to if anything 2. The door rugs are all fitted so never a chance of slipping. 3. Option of inter connected rooms 4. Kama products as toileteries 5. Play area for kids 6. Gift shop 7. An awesomely placed bar And muxh more. If we have to go back, we will surely come here again. A definite recommendation for all familes - this is safe and sound at its best! A big shout to our taxi partner guide - Balwinderji and Umesh ji.. Do ask for Umesh ji for ur cab needs..!

The service is superb, even more intelligently customised than ***y 5 stars resorts. The only disaster is the seriously rude wo*** in the Spa, Bela, who kept taunting me and comparing me to my spouse. If you are OK skipping the spa (I had an injured knee and elbow so was excited about the potli massage) then Baikunth is a good choice. Don’t forget to walk amidst the pine and floral scented routes inside the resort.
