Having recently booked unit 126 via Airbnb for 2 couples (4-night stay), we were looking forward to this place which appeared very promising. The good thing was that the beds were comfy and the location is great. There were a few minor issues like neither bathtub having a useable stopper. One was missing completely and the other leaked. We found innovative ways of keeping the water in for baths. The drinking water tastes of chlorine, even after boiling. The downstairs bathroom needed a thorough cleaning, especially around the toilet area and the mirror hadn’t been wiped in ages. The worst thing was that when we read the ‘house rules’ (not the same as the listing one) that was in the entrance area, we discovered that, despite paying a hefty $150 for cleaning, we were still expected to: take out the garbage, run the dishwasher and a load of laundry (towels) before departure. This is outrageous and after travelling for over 40 years in many countries, this has never been demanded. This is no way to treat any guest. Airbnb have been made aware of this issue and because they edit reviews heavily, the next guests will not be aware of what to expect. The extra $ for fees, service charges and cleaning made this stay a very costly one and not good value.
