We had booked this hotel weeks before we left Australia and had had the booking confirmed twice. This was to be the second of two hotels we were to stay in while in Sorrento for 8 days. We arrived at our first hotel and checked our emails (as you do these days :-) ) to find that our booking at Boutique had been cancelled. The only reason given was that they were overbooked. There was no communication from this hotel, only an email from ***********. How can a hotel that has confirmed your booking be allowed to cancel four days before you are supposed to be their guest, and with the flimsiest of reasons. No apology, no contact - NOTHING!!! It may be a wonderful hotel but I would certainly NOT even consider it in the future. Fortunately, our first hotel, Conca Park, was incredibly helpful and found rooms for us in their hotel for the second part of our stay. We may be the only hotel guests to have stayed in 3 rooms in the space of 8 days. :-)

This was a great location. I am only giving this 4-stars but I am not sure I would have made a different decision. The location was perfect for us, 2-3 blocks from the main Piazzo. All the better options around were 3-4x the price as they overlooked the water. Take this review as more of a disclosure than a negative. The property is shared with residential apartments; this is not a hotel. There were 80 steps to get to our Suite - hard to do with big luggage. The elevator got us up the first 50 steps but was slower than walking the steps and quirky to operate. The air conditioner was undersized for the room and took hours to make a difference. It automatically turns off when we were not in the room. By 4am though it was very cold in the room. Knowing what I know now, I probably would still pick this place. We weren't in the room much and I would not want to pay $1000/night or more for one of the nearby hotels. Nor would I want a hotel on the hill which would require taxis to get around. This was very convenient to where we wanted to be.

Loved our 4 days in Sorrento. This apartment was extremely conveniently situated. Salvatore, the manager contacted us prior to arriving to arrange arrival details. He was very responsive to all texts from us. He opened up for us and showed us around. He was very helpful and friendly. Overall good stay in Sorrento in very good location, lovely penthouse apartment. Please note lift access only available to certain levels. Multiple steps required to go up to the penthouse and other levels. Difficulty with luggages to carry them up and down the stairs. There is no actual lobby with reception service but owners but willing to accomodate with time. Luggage storage only available on request so have to plan ahead which we only discovered after arriving. Would recommend but not suitable for people who need to do stairs.

Had an amazing experience! Everyone was extremely helpful with everything we needed. The room was gorgeous with fresh water, heating, air-conditioning, a fridge, and modernized decor! Was in a perfect location with just steps away from the city center and the train station! It was very clean and comfortable with there being multiple eco-friendly amenities implemented into the room. The queen and single felt very comfortable as well. We were two women traveling and felt very safe staying at the property. Would 100% recommend staying at this property and will most likely stay at boutique suites again next time I’m in Sorrento :)

Great position. Parking places all around. The appartment owners are really nice and very helpful. The apartment is more then nice and very clean. I would suggest this place for everyone, even in winter time.

The accommodation reflects the images even if the building doesn't look like much. To go up to the third floor you have to take a freight elevator up to the terrace of the second and from there enter through a door and go up a flight of stairs. Then when you enter everything is ok, clean and colourful. I would go back.

We chose the Boutique Suites apartments for our two night stay in Sorrento because of the price and the fact that they were pet friendly. And because having a kitchen would save us a little more money on dinners and breakfasts. And the truth is that it has been a success for us. The apartment is very well located to explore the city on foot and has a supermarket right in front of it. The space, although not very big, is nice, everything was quite clean and we found it comfortable. Without a doubt, a recommended option for tight budgets. However, it also has some negative aspects. It does not have parking and in the street it is impossible to leave the car. So the only option is to park in a private car park that is a couple of streets away and that costs €20 per day (and that closes at night...). We also found it wrong that they charged a supplement of more than €10 per night for the pet. We understand that you have to pay an extra cleaning fee, but it stains the same in one night as in two nights... And, finally, they should check the amenities they leave: there were no coffee capsules, no salt, no oil... The containers were there, but empty. Small details that make the stay not perfect.
