Really nice hotel, good service, good views, definitely recommend

It has taken me months before writing a review on this dreamy property because we have been reminiscing of it. We went on a family trip to Italy and Sorrento and the Costa Amalfitana was part of it. We stayed there for a week and we didn’t want to leave. We found the property through the Amex Hotel Collection and it did not disappoint. The property is beautifully maintained, the lemon and orange trees surround the landscape and adds to the charm. The valley parking welcomes you, they walk you the entrance of the property and take care of your luggage. The check in process was very efficient and the front desk personnel super friendly and professional. We had our teenage sons with us and had booked two suites and it was not needed. The accommodations are very spacious and had a double sofa bed in the sitting area. We had booked one with a king end and one with two queen beds. The beds and pillow were new and very comfortable. Linens were fresh and luxurious. The suite amenities/refreshments were replenished everyday twice a day (mineral water, soft drinks, wine, beer, snacks). The needs and bathroom are kept throughout the day and the bathroom amenities are second to none. The housekeeping staff were always available and very friendly and always providing excellent services. We had the buffet breakfast everyday and it was delicious and great selection of proteins, fresh fruits and bakery. The concierge helped us books a private boat tour to Amalfi and Capri. There is an elevator (part of the hotel) that will take you down to the Sorrento pier. The property faces the pier. The swimming pool is beautiful, the staff is always helpful and caring. We had dinner at the hotels restaurants and it was one of the best experiences of Sorrento. The luxurious services and property amenities are equal to the beauty of Sorrento. We would like to thank Giovanni, Nelo (our boat captain), Giuseppe, the ladies at the breakfast check in, the housekeeping staff and everyone at Excelsior Vittoria. We loved our stay there, we will be back this year, we will always recommend this property to our family and friends.

I had the pleasure of organizing a beautiful event for a large group of American travelers at the Grand Hotel Excelsior last week. To say that this hotel is stellar is an understatement! The Grand Hotel Excelsior isn’t just a place to stay; it’s a place to be pampered, to feel seen and valued, and to create memories that linger long after check-out. From the moment we arrived at the Grand Hotel Excelsior, we knew our guests were in for something extraordinary. A special thanks to the Front Office Manager, Marco Gargano, who elegantly provides the utmost attention and care to ALL guests that pass through the hotel. To the concierge Corrado De Gregorio who's kindness and availability are superlative! To Elisa, Benedetta, Maria and so many more (apologies for not naming the whole team!) ...and last but not least, the phenomenal Tiziana Laterza, Hotel Manager - it is evident that she takes immense pride in her team and curating the many details that this magical property offers. We can't thank you enough for all of your hard work and attention dedicated to our event.. we will be forever grateful! Ciao amici!

We just stopped in for a drink before reboarding our ship for drinks and the view. The view is breathtaking, the service superb! We sat next to a couple that said their room was exceptional. HIGHLY recommend. There was a sailboat race just finishing and the shopping was just as good!

Excellent Hotel overlooking the harbour, situated in a private gated garden, direct access to the harbour, and stunning views. Pool are, one of the best maintained and cleanest I have experienced. Situated in a private estate in the centre of Sorrento.
