AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!! It is with a heavy heart I write this review but I feel I have no choice. Despite numerous calls and messages to the hotel, no response st all!! Owing to the Giro D'Italia taking place and the road closures, I decided to leave Positano a day earlier. Given my aching legs from all the walking, I decided to treat myself to a suite with a Jacuzzi bath.. Here we go, hope your sitting comfortably for this (I would suggest you read to the end) When booking it states 30 mins walk into the centre, that's OK, nice little walk to burn off some of the yummy food consumed.. what the don't tell you is that the hotel is not accessible by vehicle and you have to drag your luggage up a dark, wet, mossy alleyway...already thinking about getting back at night as there is no lighting to see in this alleyway. Finally get to the top and shown to my room, seems nice enough... decided to run the bath, my legs couldn't wait.. no hot water! Tried the shower and the sink, nothing..rang reception, no answer, even walked over but nobody there. This was 730pm...as much as no hot water was an emergency to my legs, what if there had been a fire or something, no way to contact anyone. Exhausted, get into bed and then it starts..the dog continuously barking..this went on until 430 am! I have been liaising with *********** as the hotel have failed to respond to any communication..their response on this matter, the dog wasn't near my room! Erm, well it might not have been near my room but it was barking all night with other residents regularly shouting for it to "shut up" As if this wasn't bad enough, on checking out the next day, I slipped leaving their property (I was wearing on cloud trainers, so decent footwear!) and have damaged both arms, my ankle, my back and my head, sought medical advise and after spending the last 3 days in agony in bed, I am having to take an early flight home... I've contacted the hotel many many times and had no response, my dream vacation has been ruined by this hotel and they don't have the decency to reply, to acknowledge their issues and to check I am OK. Already in contact with *********** who have helped a little but I am seeking legal advice and taking this matter further Avoid this hotel like the plague, I wouldn't stay here if it was the absolute last place on earth Thankyou Casale Antoinetta for completing ruining my dream vacation...I hope you are happy and can live with yourselves!

Unfortunately this property was disappointing and not worth the money - avoid if you can. Although it is definitely a cheaper option than many other places in Sorrento, in hindsight we would have rather paid more for a better experience. The main 3 issues we had were that the pool was shut (due to rain) for both days we were there (having read other reviews you have to PAY to use it on weekends anyway?!). The restaurant was also shut for our second day, which was annoying as we'd planned to stay at the hotel relaxing all day then go to their restaurant for dinner - the reviews mention the food being good so we were keen to try it. The third issue was that our room was very small, with one small window which had shutters across it that could not be opened. There was a sky light in the ceiling but we couldn't exactly see any views from there. These 3 things were enough to put us off and made the stay there underwhelming and frustrating. Additionally, the shortcut walk up to the property is steep and not well lit at nighttime - be careful. As others have mentioned, that's if you even find that route to the hotel - we ended up going the long way round when we arrived with our suitcases which takes about 10 minutes up and down hills, rather than 1 minute up the very steep hill! Breakfast was ok, nothing amazing. The last thing, on the first night when we returned from the centre, there was a really loud party going on on the patio (this was about 11.30pm) which we could hear from our room. We contacted the property directly (through ***********) for compensation when we returned home, but instead received a response from *********** that the property refused to give any compensation or even a reply! The only positive thing was the girl on reception was really friendly and helpful. Overall, not worth staying here and please read the other recent reviews as they are all similar. It seems this place used to be better a few years back and has unfortunately gone downhill.

My partner and I went here as couple on holiday, was promised a room with a view. We got the Cucciolo room which is approx 165Euros per night. The room is small, and located at the entrance of the building, exactly above the reception of the hotel, and the view was of the entrance of the hotel, and the restaurant and the breakfast tables outside, not mountains nor see or city. The bathroom was tiny, the light looked like some emergency light and it did not work, the light of the mirror could barely light up the worn out wooden shelf beneath. The shower could barely fit one small person. The entrance of the room had a window facing the same side: reception/entrance/restaurant/breakfast tables outside and could not give privacy at all so we had to keep it closed all the time. The bedroom was small as well with a rounded very low ceiling, and with the hot weather, despite the air conditioning sleeping there felt like cooking in the oven. Early in the morning we were waken up by loud staff shouting at each other. Other staff was very nice. Breakfast was included, loads of cakes, also savoury, juices were not fresh but store bough, except for very sour lemonade. No dairy alterantives unfortunately. At the end of the stay we were not even asked if we liked it!

It's far away from the main road and not suitable for suitcases. DON'T follow Google maps as it will take you a more difficult pathway. Monday night we had fireworks from 11:30 until midnight that shook our room. Tuesday night the restaurant had kareoke until midnight outside the room. Thursday we where informed of a wedding in the restaurant but were assured it would be away from our room by the pool. Instead the band was set up directly in front of our room and played until midnight. The room itself was nice and clean. The breakfast was lacking and not good (thankfully it's not extra). The WiFi is somehow better outside the room than in it. I would not recommend this hotel for anyone.

It really is a beautiful small boutique hotel in perfect setting. Grounds are impeccable, surrounded by greenery and beautiful flowers. Pro's - beautiful setting Rooms decent with large fridge and great Aircon. Restaurant great. Con's - charge for pool at weekends Have to wear swimming hats in pool. Steep alleyway (4 mins) unlit down to bus route/road 20 minute walk along road with no pavement (but lots walking)

The hotel has the most stunning view. They grounds maintained so well. All the staff we met were really friendly and helpful. We called in advance and met us at the bottom of the hill to pick us up. They only small downside was many a better selection for breakfast.

My husband and I went here to begin our honeymoon We were looking forward to seeing some of the rabbits (proud owner of one) that had been shown in the photos and in a video on their Facebook page just a month prior. When we arrived the manager only just pointed to us where reception was, we went into reception and they checked us in and showwd us to our room. When we went up to the honeymoon suite or what is the most newly renovated room, there were many flies buzzing in the corridor area. The hot tub was broken so we had to get maintenance to help fix it as the taps were loose. The TV was only in Italian language with no option for captions, there are zero English channels We had water provided in the fridge which was chargeable. The room itself was good for the night although the bed is very firm, but I think that's the case for every room on this property. We were saddened to only see one rabbit around the yard, all by itself, with no water source in sight that I could see with temperatures much too hot for a rabbit. I was also told the rabbits that had been there before were fed biscuits which they should not be eating period or any kind of bread for that matter or sweets. We were shown a huge bag of rabbit pellet food, but just one rabbit in sight with no one really knowing what happened to the other 9 rabbits that were there just a month prior, from the photos I've seen there used to be way more than that. I was told a fox had basically got into the hotel site from the carpark. One lone rabbit that is not happy with no other rabbits which they need for socializing, or they become very depressed and it's very cruel to the rabbit,èw no water source, kids were screaming at the poor thing and chasing it, the rabbit seems to have no area besides the few bushes to cool off or any secure area to keep him safe. If a fox indeed got the bunnies it's not hard to figure out why, as they need a secure area to be in at night and be safe, this poor rabbit needs a good home, a water source, fresh greens, and more importantly other rabbits to socialize with or he will not make it as well, I say this as a person who had rabbits for many years now and I can tell this rabbit is in bad shape .With no water source this rabbit will not live long here and it's poops were very small and dry not a good sign. Breakfast was good, breakfast staff were pleasant, the older lady serving dinner was pleasant as well but difficult to understand as we're most staff, difficult to understand as they have very limited English. Don't expect a hotel or even a golf cart ride to the top of the hill, this only seems to be offered to their event guests. This is not a hotel ,there are no bathroom tissues just toilet paper, and staff are friendly most off the staff seem rather cold and don't make you feel welcome including the manager as they are more concerned with the people who have events booked there, on that point, unless your eating dinner which you must reserve or breakf

The hotel grounds are absolutely beautiful, and kept immaculate, with lemon groves and gardens overlooking the sea and Mount vesuvius. The rooms were nice, bright and fresh. The only thing is the walls were quite thin, so could hear next door getting up and about in the morning and at night. The walk into to town is about half an hour, but there's also a bus stop at the bottom of the alley which is very handy. Or taxis are available from the carpark, the walk is worth it though with the beautiful views! The staff were amazing, so friendly and always there to help.

I was pleasantly surprised to find the property in a small agricultural plantation with their own fruit trees. The room that I was given had skylights and am unobstructed view of the Bay of Naples. The staff were professional. I very much liked the quiet setting of the property, and would come back and stay again next time.
