Fabulous hotel, historic building. Spotless rooms with gorgeous historic detail. Quiet and beautiful. Breakfast was wonderful. Super nice staff, advised us to go to the tourist office for the city tour they do twice a day. That tour is extremely worthwhile, just excellent, A must to do in the city. You will be taken to all the secret hidden gems of the city. Best tour I have ever had in this fabulous town of the birthplace of King Fernando of Aragon.

We stayed in the two-level suite. This was a wonderful experience. A beautifully renovated medieval building. Attentive service. Perfect location. And perhaps most outstanding was the kindness of the owner and her son. There is certainly no better place to stay in Sos.

This was a lovely hotel, its decoration, its history. The comfort, and Im difficult to please, was wonderful, great spacious and hot shower, good towels. Beds were changed daily too And then sos del rey catolico was the best little village. Saw wonderful places around. A really lovely couple of days, could have spent a couple more. Top marks for the owners

We were at first shown to a basic room which looked into the very tiny courtyard - so no view and no light. But the lady at reception was only too happy to give us the choice of another room which had a fantastic view and was larger and more beautiful. But the hotel is exceptional in its decor and ambience. The age of the original building seeps through the sympathetic restoration and renovation works which have been done to provide all modern conveniences, without taking away from the original charm. The town itself is amazing, but did feel a bit like a museum. We were unfortunate to be there when most historic attractions were closed, so didn't get to see inside the main buildings. We had difficulty in finding a restaurant which was open and serving typical food. And we didn't see many people so it didn't feel like a real town where people live and thrive: this may be because it was quite hot and the houses probably accommodated hidden courtyards where families could relax in relative cool. But it is well worth a visit and the views are incredible. The location is so high and isolated and the town full of tiny narrow streets and alleyways. Definitely an experience to be had and the hotel itself is the one to choose should you do so.

Booked a one night stay here for my wife and I during a road trip through the Pyrenees. This boutique style hotel has been very tastefully modernised and is clean and tidy throughout. The bed was comfortable and the modern en-suite bathroom worked well. There was a good Wi-Fi signal too. My only criticism would be that the air con unit in the room was really quite noisy but that being said, it worked well and was absolutely necessary as the temperature outside was 40 Deg C! The location of the hotel means that you have to park close by and walk a short distance to the hotel which is in the pedestrianised part of the medieval town. Friendly proprietors and good healthy breakfast means I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel for an overnight stay.
