We spent 3 days in Tamodi Lodge and it was amazing ! The place is so peaceful and beautiful, we are surrounded by nature. The owners are ver y nice and careful, they are here every morning to speak with you and advise you about the activities to do around. For sure we will come back !

It was my 4th visit to Tamodi Lodge and it seems to get better each time and it was already great the first time! Tremendous views,fantastic rooms, beautiful fireplaces, log cabins, great breakfast. Can I name something that wasn't good? Yes, unfortunately, the weather was not the best in the two days we were there. The only 2 days of our 14 day stay in South Africa. Tamodi Lodge, thank you once again for being such wonderful hosts!

Arriving at the lodge theirs is a motto which states “calm down to our pace of life” That truly sums it up. The breath taking views from the large terrace of our beautifully appointed suite surrounds one with calmness. No noise except for the birds. The beautifully decorated breakfast tables and serenity of the main lodge ensure you spend a very relaxing stay and the owners Owen & Lynne do everything to ensure an outstanding stay. Additionally there are lovely walks close by and the local town of Plettenberg is itself worth visiting. A highlight of our 3 weeks in South Africa

This was our second time here and the Tamodi Lodge has now become one of our favorite places on the Garden Route. Beautifully located in the middle of nature. Very spacious rooms, nice breakfast terrace with a great view. Well-stocked wine cellar. And above all, very nice owners. Many thanks to Lynne and Owen for the lovely stay. We will be back.

Tamodi Lodge was truly a magical experience! Absolutely stunning views and location! They welcomes us with open arms and their attention to detail was spot on! This is definitely the most romantic breakaway to date! We would highly recommend a stay at this enchanting lodge! Thank you so much Chelsea,Charletine,Lynne,Mara and Anneline! We stayed at Tamodi at the end of January for three nights and can't speak highly enough for the wonderfully warm reception and hospitality we received. The Lodge itself is incredible and with the most amazing view of the surrounding forest of Nature's Valley below, absolutely stunning. As indeed was the lodge itself, with an infinity pool on the decked area in front of the Dining area for breakfast. And the breakfast itself is a very worthy meal not to be missed, cooked by Owen and served with a smile by Lynne the proprietors of this first class B&B. We certainly hope to return again in the not too distant future and enjoy another charcuterie board and bottle of bubbly from their well stocked cellar!

From the moment we booked Owen and Lynne did everything to make us feel very welcome, with helpful tips for car hire, local sights, restaurants etc. When we arrived we were blown away by the peace and tranquillity of Tamodi lodge, and the natural beauty surrounding it. We had a really wonderful time there, relaxing, enjoying the lovely room, the very tasty breakfast, the entertaining dogs...but above all the very special hospitality shown to us by Owen and Lynne all those working there. We can highly recommend staying at Tamodi Lodge

By far the best accommodation in South Africa during my two-week garden route trip. The lodge is spectacular, with a breathtaking view and a super warm hospitality. The hosts are amazing, very friendly and professional. My husband and I felt at home. The breakfast is also incredibly good and everything is curated in every single detail. I definitely recommend Tamodi Lodge and Stables if you want to completely relax, enjoy good food and wine and live an outstanding hotel experience.

Tamodi Lodge was a favourite during our two week vacation along the Garden Route. It is a truly amazing place and location with excellent breakfast and service. Our family of five stayed in two luxury honeymoon suites. They were huge and beautiful. Owners are very friendly and ensures that your stay feels very personal - like a home. They also provide restaurant tips etc that are very helpful. Would love to go back!
