Kempsey Powerhouse Motel

The motel is at the edge of the southern side of the town & therefore easily accessed from the motorway. The owner is welcoming. The room was comfortable, quiet & adequately appointed. The hot breakfast was tasty & reasonably priced. Facilities exist to make toast & hot drinks.

Our first stay in Kempsey. The motel appears to have been or is in process of being refurbished. Our queen room was spacious, had new carpet, and was well equipped with what looked to include some fairly new appliances and an effective air conditioner. The bed was very comfortable, there was a table and 2 comfortable chairs, plus another comfortable chair. Ample parking, not noisy, and we had no safety concerns. Would happily stay again. Wifi seemed a bit slow, but was sufficient to support YouTube on the TV. What more can you ask for.

The beds were very comfortable and the rooms were clean. The showers had excellent water pressure. The proprietors were friendly and helpful and we had a nice cooked breakfast. The location is great for a quick stopover as it's still quite close to the main highway. There was a little bit of traffic noise, but nothing that kept us awake. We were so comfortable stopping here on our way north, that we decided to stay again on our way home. We'll definitely be happy to stay again. We have stayed at a lot of motels in this price point and this is one of the best ones. We also had a lovely meal at the pub in town which is only 5 minutes away.

Really nice greeting from Jason, even tho we were quite late in the evening very comfy motel room, comfy bed, great shower and the room not so yiny that there is no privacy in the bathroom. Somewhere to sit outside. All good and we will definitely stop at yhis hotel sgsin.

This is our second stay at the Kempsey Powerhouse Motel. The standard remains high. Great customer service, large clean room, excellent room service food, lots of free parking. Close to M1 exit and yet away from traffic noise. Chef made a delicious vegetarian omelette for a special meal at little notice. Thank you. We will be back for another stay.

Just what was needed as an overnight stay between Sydney and Brisbane. A clean, comfortable and spacious unit. An added bonus was being able to have an evening meal brought to our room, and equipment provided so we could make our own breakfast
