The hotel is very old and everything is worn out. The carpet hall is torn out, the wallpaper is peeled, and many of the glass windows/walls look filthy. Some of the swimming pool's decoration are broken. And the worst thing is: during the 3 day period of my stay in this hotel, the swimming pool is out of order. This is very disappointing, because the main reason I chose this hotel is to use the swimming pool. And what is more: the bathroom water is off many times during my stay. I had to call reception over and over again to report this situation. Breakfast food is average. Nothing special. The don't even serve one traditional food from this city whatsoever.

Much of the place is literally falling apart. Beyond the lobby, there are holes in carpets and doors. In our room, the door to the bathroom was in fragmenting and the themostat was hanging form the wall by wires. Water pressure was minimal in the shower. Yet, the room was clean, bed comfortable, and the hot water and AC worked. We enjoyed the pool even though tiles were falling off and all of the features were broken. For the price we paid it was serviceable enough. I'd stay again because the only place in town that seems better is the GAIA and that was a lot more expensive.

Dirty and in need of maintenance. Bathroom floors filthy. floor damaged. No refrigerator. Charged 890 IDR for 2nd rate condition if compared to similar locations and star ratings in Indonesia. Staff were pleasant and helpful. I would recommend shopping around to lower star rating in Ternate for similar conditions and cleanliness are what you want

My wife recommended this hotel as she had stayed here many times prior as a 4 star hotel. So as a family with a 3 year old daughter we booked king room. Apon arival the lobby and foyer was hot and was not air-conditioned Looking around, mold was on the walls up high and appeared not clean The room which was spacious and appeared ok We decided to lay down as we're tired from traveling and pulled back sheets and much to our discust had some sort of organic stains going moldy sheets were then changed. Went to shower and there was no water and was told we need to move but no king rooms available and had to settle for a deluxe room and was told we could push beds together. Not ideal but acceptable Room was dirty As we had young daughter went to take her to pool which was half full and disgustingly dirty. There was no way she was going to swim in filth. At a guess I would say this hotel has not been maintained since it was the Covid 19 quarantine hotel for the area, being paid well and putting nothing back in return to maintain the property. I could go on with more but not worth it I advise if you look at what is on their websites and on all platforms do not believe it This hotel is 2 star at the best
