Having stayed here before, we paid extra for an upgrade and our double room was just what we had expected, Warm, clean and comfortable.
However, there had obviously been a fall down in communication between the front desk and housekeeping.
The room had been prepared for single occupancy. One of everything, instead of two. This even extended to one mug which we didn't notice until making our hot drink to have in bed in the morning by which time it was too late to rectify. On checking out I pointed this out to the man at reception but he was not that concerned indicating that we might not have looked in the right place for the second mug, towels, dressing gown, slippers etc.
