Holiday Inn Express & Suites SOUTHFIELD - DETROIT by IHG

Met with colleagues from Europe and spent thr night. Renovated very nicely had some great suggestions of places to go around hotel. Clean rooms!

They served muffins danish and coffee told us if we come back next week breakfast will be served like it's be better

No House keeping was available, also when booking we were not notified that the property was under maintenance, also breakfast was not available Very disappointing

The hotel was under construction so there was only muffins, granola bars, danish pastries and coffee available. No variety day to day. The coffee was good and available all day. The location was excellent for my purposes. I will most likely stay again, hopefully the renovations will be done by next year! The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was really nice, I was in one of the renovated rooms.

The room was big and very clean. The bathroom was also very clean, with plenty of towels. The bed was big and comfortable. The area around the hotel was well maintained. The only criticism - please tighten the screws in the bed frames, the guests above me were having a very good time at 5am and their creaking bed frame woke me up.

The room it’s completely renovated in the 3floor, the others were under construction. The breakfast was limited in a simple table, nothing hot except the coffee. The staff was kind.Besides the hotel there was a construction machinery working early in the morning. Clean room. You see construction workers entering and leaving the property. Next to my room there were a guests with loud and disruptive behavior late at night for the entirety of my stay.

The room was too dirty and smelly bad , there was no breakfast although it was included in the reservation but according to the staff they have only coffee and protein bars which was terrible and I called ******* customer support but there was no answer which was really disappointing

Construction work was going on when we got there, not a huge deal I understand updates to building happen but because of this there was barely room to park and there wasn’t any breakfast in the mornings. We got the King size one bed suite with the jacuzzi tub. It was clean until you actually looked. Hair was all over our bed/bathroom and it looked like the linoleum floor wasn’t swept, we over looked all of it went about what we had planned the next day then went to use the jacuzzi with was amazing till we turned the jets on. The two pressure caps on the edge of the tub shot off and shot water out so the jets had no pressure. We told front desk and was told they probably weren’t put on correctly but they were definitely broken and just sat them on there. The one part we loved was the employees they were very nice for the whole stay.

They we're undergoing construction but still managed to be very clean. the bathrooms were a bit dated, but otherwise had everything you needed. The small refrigerator on the inside needed cleaning, but overall the room met the needs of a quick stay.
