We had a great trip and stay at this hotel. Nice lady called Natalie in reception. We were on the third floor and all new carpet throughout. Lovely spacious family room. Comfortable beds and great bathroom with bath and shower. Good hot water pressure flow. The hotel is old fashioned style but I love this and the character. Great bar inside and also lounge area where you can watch the world go by. All very clean. We got a great deal and would recommend this very central location. Less than 10 minute walk from the train station.

Food : lots of choice and plentiful. Service very good also Room clean and comfortable. No complaints

The service was ok the concierge is friendly at least. The room is basic. My double room is smaller than in the pictures. The location is good though. Pubs, restaurants and lots of shopping nearby. If you are into night life and drinking this hotel would be perfect for you-- enjoy and drink and go back to sleep.

Lovely staff but music from the bar below was loud until 4:30am, so poor sleep Good central location

Decent hotel. Had everything I needed. Clean bed sheets and en suite toilet/shower. A tad noisy due to central, busy location and my bedroom had a view of the rear yard of the bar with bins/kegs/bottles but room was more than adequate for a short stay. Good price, too. Polite staff. Would return.

Pleasantly surprised, after the turmoil the hotel has been through. The young lady on reception when we booked in, was very professional & pleasant. It was great value for money, we will return. Thank you!!!

Hotel felt a little dated but it had everything we needed and seemed clean and was local to everything we wanted to do during our weekend stay. 10 minutes away from the beach, lots of places to eat and things to do nearby.
