❤️ The Hotel I Would Choose Again in Da Nang After staying at several different hotels during our Vietnam trip, Monarque Hotel Da Nang easily became one of our favorite stays. Honestly, everything was great — from the location and room to the food, facilities, and overall experience. The hotel is also in a very convenient location near My Khe Beach, which made it easy for us to enjoy both the beach and the surrounding area. (Monarque Hotel | Official website) But what really stood out to me was the service. The staff were incredibly friendly, warm, and welcoming throughout our stay. What I loved most was their genuine smiles. Every time we interacted with the staff, we felt like we were truly welcomed rather than simply being treated as hotel guests. The breakfast was also one of the best we had during our Vietnam trip. There was a great variety of food, and the quality was excellent. The hotel also offers complimentary afternoon tea for guests, which was a really nice extra touch. The service, the warm smiles, the attention to guests, and the overall quality made such a strong impression on me that if I come back to Da Nang again, I already know which hotel I’m going to choose. The hotel's location is super close to Hoi An Ancient Town, within walking distance, and also near the night market and restaurants. The decor style is pretty nice too. However, the room was incredibly small, and so was the bed. There was a phone on the nightstand, making it difficult to put anything else down. What's even crazier is that to get into bed, you had to squeeze past a corner sideways – it was ridiculous. Thankfully, it was cleaned fairly well, but on the second day, a bug somehow got in and scared my daughter to tears. While I understand that's common in Southeast Asia, it still wasn't a great experience. I wouldn't recommend it for families. The biggest highlight was the swimming pool, which my kids really enjoyed, but there's no way I'd stay there again.

Staff, food, and beach were all wonderful. There is a sea wall straight out from the beach, which during low tide means there are almost no waves. During high tide there are more gentle waves. At first we were a little disappointed in this as we love the sound of the waves, but when we visited a beach further down, there was no swimming allowed as the waves were too severe. So I am glad we could go swimming any time. The beach is white sand, no garbage, no seaweed, just nice clean sandy beach. The room was nice, but the AC blows right on your head, which my wife does not appreciate. However it was too hot to not have it on, so she spent night with a pillow over her head :) The only real negative is the location. I imagine this used to be a happening area; it is no longer. There is a small shop just in front of the hotel which also does laundry and mediocre massage, so that is convenient. But there is little else in the area. We ended up taking a Grab everywhere. That being said, it was very quiet and peaceful, so it depends on what you are interested in. If you want a place to just set up and stay, the food was good, the beach is great, the staff is wonderful, and the beach was very quiet. Oh, and the spa was fantastic although a little pricey as all hotel spas are.

My impression of Risemount was that it felt fresh, modern, and youthful. However, my overall experience did not fully meet my expectations. I arrived at the hotel at 3:30 PM, but there was no greeting at the entrance. At that time, only one receptionist was assisting another guest. While I was carrying my child and two hand-carry suitcases to the counter, a female staff member from another desk kindly came over to help me with the check-in. After checking in, I was offered a glass of ginger tea with honey. At first, the flavor felt quite strong and slightly spicy, so I thought it might contain a bit of alcohol. After asking, I understood that it was ginger tea with honey, which was a thoughtful welcome drink. In the room, I noticed a strand of hair in the bathtub, and the showerhead in the standing shower was loose, causing water to splash outside. Together with the bathroom slippers, this made me feel a bit uncomfortable and less safe while using the bathroom. The soundproofing could also be improved, as I could still hear traffic noise and sounds from the neighboring room even with the windows and doors closed. During the night, I was disturbed by mosquitoes and couldn’t sleep well. At around 2 AM, my daughter, who was very tired after a long day at the beach, had an accident in bed. I tried to contact housekeeping and the reception for assistance, but unfortunately, I could not reach anyone at that time. This was quite inconvenient during our stay. In addition, although the breakfast offered a wide variety of dishes, I personally felt that the presentation and overall setup could be more refined to better match the hotel’s standard.

We stayed for 7 days and 5 nights. It was our first trip to Vietnam as two guys, and thanks to this hotel and its staff, we made unforgettable memories. During our stay, we encountered a few issues, such as the bathroom door getting stuck, not knowing how to adjust the TV volume, and not understanding how to use the laundry machine. However, the staff always responded promptly and courteously, resolving every problem for us. Unfortunately, it rained almost continuously throughout our trip, but the staff went above and beyond to accommodate our requests, and we truly cannot thank them enough. I wholeheartedly recommend staying at this hotel. Just three important notes: First, please be aware that from around September 10th, Vietnam experiences heavy rainfall, making walking difficult. Please take this into consideration when planning your trip. 🙏 Despite this, I guarantee the scenery is still beautiful! Second, it's tastier to eat directly at local restaurants than to order delivery via Grab. If you have time, definitely try visiting the local eateries. Lastly, for Ba Na Hills, I recommend booking a round-trip private car (with hotel transfer) through services like Klook. If you go by Grab, you might have trouble finding a car for the return journey.

The hotel's location is excellent, with a shopping mall right behind it. Plus, there's a spa so you don't even need to leave the hotel to enjoy your holiday. The only downside is the poor soundproofing; you can hear everything from guests opening and closing doors in the next room to the cleaning staff chatting in the hallway.

The hotel's exterior isn't the newest, but the interior facilities are well-maintained. Housekeeping is very diligent with daily room cleaning, though it tends to be quite early. Remember to hang the 'Do Not Disturb' sign if you don't want to be woken up. Check-out at the front desk can be a bit slow, especially with the male staff, whose English isn't great and they seem a bit muddled. The hotel's location is a bit noisy, but there are plenty of dining options nearby.

The hotel is a little far from the city centre, but it makes up for that with great amenities. There’s a lovely swimming pool, mini casino, Ktv bar and an extensive spa facility. The view of Han River is exceptional. Getting around is easy, most Grab cars wait around the hotel. Improvements: Booking trips with the concierge is terribly expensive. Our trip to Ba na hills cost us half of what the hotel charged. The shuttle service is a great bonus but the schedule is a little inconvenient for a lot of activities. For example, you can only leave for the beach at 7:30 or 15:00, nothing in between.

The hotel is really nice, all the facilites are top tier, the rooftop is nice (didn’t try the swimming pool tho) but what makes the difference is the staff! They are so genuine and helpful! They do everything to help you to have the best stay ! I was there just for 1 night (which is a shame) but if I come back to Danang I will definitely come back to Sofiana my Khe hotel ! Also they offered me a free feet massage which was incredible and super relaxing !!

이 호텔의 장단점은 명확하다. 여기엔 단점을 먼저 적어본다. 처음 방에 들어선순간 지하실에서 나는 쿵쿵한 곰팡이냄세가 진동했다. 건물전체에서 이런 냄새가 나는데 구조적 문제같다. 벽사진을 보면 왜그런지 짐작할수있다. 이호텔의 유일한 단점은 바로 이것이다. 다른점은 시내에서 멀다는것인데 오토바이를 렌트하면 해결된다. 시내에서 대략 10분거리.
