Hotel near Han River,Da Nang
Palmier Hotel is located along the scenic Han River in Son Tra District, offering a convenient base to explore the vibrant city of Da Nang. From the hotel, guests can easily reach popular attractions such as Dragon Bridge, Han River Bridge, and My Khe Beach within just a few minutes. The surrounding area features a wide variety of restaurants, cafés, convenience stores, and travel services, providing great convenience throughout your stay. With comfortable accommodation and modern guest rooms, Palmier Hotel is an ideal choice for both leisure and business travelers visiting Da Nang.

"The room is nice with a view of the Han River. The staff are friendly. The location is convenient for visiting Hoi An, Ba Na Hills, or My Khe beach, all of which are close by. There's a 24-hour supermarket nearby, which is very handy. It's also close to Vincom and Dragon Bridge, so traffic can be heavy. Since the room faces the road, some traffic noise is unavoidable. They offer laundry and drying services, and scooter rental at a reasonable price. All the staff are lovely. There's a white wardrobe, but you have to look closely to spot it. The blanket was a bit dirty, and the TV wouldn't turn on. The bathtub was also a bit dirty, probably due to age. The fridge was a bit grimy, so I had to clean it before putting my things in. Someone had scrawled 'Fk' on the wardrobe, which was quite off-putting for someone who prefers cleanliness like me. I hope the hotel can address these shortcomings. I would still stay here again next time."

I would definitely come again next time and stay here. Best thing it is just in front of the beach."

This was the best hotel out of the 6 we stayed at during this vacation, and the only one we'd want to return to. Sure, the interior isn't for minimalist lovers, but then again, the hotel's concept isn't about minimalism. The true wealth of this hotel lies in its people. They aren't just 'the girl at the front desk'; they're there when you need them, they'll chat with you while waiting for the elevator, share stories, and laugh with you. Every evening, there's a genuine smile, a few cookies, and a goodnight card – it's such a lovely touch! Just like the welcome card with your name in gold on black. The breakfasts are superb, and for our week-long stay, we received a bonus dinner with a view of the evening sea (it was excellent). By the way, they even arranged transport to our next hotel as a bonus. Every day there's an afternoon 'sweet hour' with sandwiches, desserts, cookies, and fruit. Nothing was ever stale or pre-cut, never anything dried out or sour (unlike at our other hotels). For a long time afterwards, as we passed by, my husband and I would exchange glances and say, 'That's our hotel.' The sea is just across the road. We will definitely be back for our entire vacation.

This was a hotel that I spent a long time researching before booking. It had excellent reviews and a very high rating online. Unfortunately, my experience was a case of “looks great from a distance, but not quite as impressive up close.” Let me start with the positives. The lobby is beautiful, with a charming vintage design that creates a great first impression. The front desk staff were friendly, helpful, and communicated well in English. Upon arrival, we were offered cold towels and refreshing welcome drinks, which was a nice touch after a long journey. We decided to have lunch at the hotel’s restaurant. The food was average—not particularly memorable, but enough to satisfy our hunger. The staff escorted us and our luggage to the room. At first glance, the room looked acceptable, but as someone who is quite particular about cleanliness, I quickly noticed a significant amount of dust on various surfaces. I tried not to dwell on it because, for me, the most important thing is a clean and comfortable bed. Unfortunately, that night became the worst part of our stay. I barely slept during my first night. Throughout the night, I felt as though something was biting my skin, and I found myself constantly scratching. It was extremely uncomfortable and frustrating. The following morning during breakfast, a staff member kindly asked how we had slept. I honestly explained my experience and mentioned that I felt I had been bitten by something during the night. I requested that the bed linens be changed. To their credit, the staff responded immediately. They informed the front desk, and shortly afterwards a manager came to speak with us personally, apologised sincerely, and arranged for a deep cleaning of our room. At that moment, I truly appreciated their attitude because they made me feel that they genuinely cared and were actively trying to solve the problem. We then left for our day of sightseeing. When we returned to the hotel that afternoon, I was genuinely surprised. The room felt completely different from the day before. It smelled fresh and clean, every surface had been thoroughly wiped down, the floors were spotless, and even the musty smell that I had previously noticed was gone. The room finally felt as clean as I had expected from a highly rated hotel. As an additional gesture, the hotel offered me a complimentary 20-minute herbal bath treatment as compensation. I thought that was a thoughtful gesture and appreciated the effort they made to make things right. Most importantly, I slept wonderfully on the second night. For service and recovery, I would honestly give the team more than full marks. While the initial issue should not have happened, the way they handled the situation was professional, sincere, and efficient. As for breakfast, it was decent and perfectly acceptable. There was enough variety, although I believe there is still room for improvement. I would still recommend this hotel. The location is excellent, with many attractions and the riverside within easy walking distance. Regarding the facilities, they are all on the smaller side. The swimming pool is beautiful but quite small. The gym is compact, and the children’s playroom is also rather limited in size. None of these were deal-breakers for us, but they are worth noting for future guests. Overall, while the stay did not start well, the outstanding service recovery and excellent location left a positive final impression. No hotel is perfect, but what matters is how they respond when something goes wrong—and this hotel handled it exceptionally well.

Risemount Premier Resort Da Nang is a genuinely stunning place to stay — beautifully designed throughout and incredibly Instagrammable, with photo-worthy corners everywhere you turn. The resort is impeccably clean, and our room was spacious, comfortable, and thoughtfully appointed. Breakfast was a real highlight, offering a wide and varied spread with plenty of options to keep things interesting each morning. The standout for us, though, was the bar: the cocktails were absolutely delicious and the perfect way to unwind after a day out. As a couple, we couldn’t have asked for a more stylish and relaxing escape — highly recommended, and we’d happily return.

The Boutique Hoi An Hotel is a beautiful hotel with a fantastic, well-maintained tropical garden and colonial charm. The pool is beautifully designed, large, and suitable for both serious swimmers and casual bathers. The beach is also lovely, miles long, and quite clean for Asian standards. The spa center, which manager Mai has perfectly under control, is also highly recommended. The breakfast was a bit underwhelming, but that didn't bother us as we don't prioritize breakfast. What was absolutely disturbing was the behavior of the reception manager upon our arrival. In an unacceptably pushy manner, he tried to pressure us into tailor services, concert events, excursions, or other commission-based services. Visiting Hoi An Old Town is NOT worth it, contrary to what Instagram and numerous travel reports suggest. Hoi An might have been picturesque and charming in the past, but unfortunately, today it suffers from the effects of a severe backpacker and overtourism syndrome. If you want to eat well, it's best to stay at the hotel, where there's a very good barbecue buffet, or head left down the street where you'll find some nice local restaurants.

Located right across the beach. Many eateries, mart and laundry nearby. Room was quite spacious and clean. Swimming pool overlooking an amazing ocean view. Varied wide spread of breakfast buffet, food was tasty. Staff were friendly and kind. Concierge men were very helpful and welcoming. Unfortunately, upon checking out, we were shocked to be charged us USD7 without any explanation. Only when we queried, the receptionist mentioned it was for a ”broken shampoo bottle”, which we were very sure we left the room in tip top condition. We further asked for proof of the broken bottle, only then they sent someone to retrieve the bottle and brought it to the reception counter. The bottle was intact, not broken as claimed. However, the receptionist said the housekeeper claimed there was a ”crack” at the bottom of the bottle, which none of us including the receptionist could find the alleged ”crack”. the receptionist tried so hard to prove there was a crack but we insisted on ”where was the crack?' because we couldnt see any obvious crack and nothing leaked out out the bottle - it looked more like a light scratch. In the end, the receptionist told us to write a case report to the housekeeping to resolve the matter. We were disappointed that this matter was not handled professionally and we felt accused for an alleged crack. We were amazed at how meticulous and sharp the housekeepers were for noticing a light scratch at the bottom of the bottle and the bottom of shampoo bottle was the 1st thing they inspected. Plus, we didnt use their shampoo - we brought our own shampoo.

Stayed for three nights, and the overall experience was far from good. Honestly, I rarely leave negative reviews for hotels, but given the price and positioning of this hotel, the service was truly disappointing. I even felt that it was worse than some smaller, less expensive hotels. The front desk staff's attitude was not friendly at all. The biggest letdown was breakfast. It clearly stated that it was served until 10:30 am, but by 9:15 am, they had already started clearing the food. My friend called to rush us downstairs, and when we got there at just 9:30 am, most of the food was already gone. My friend ended up only being able to eat a bowl of noodles. I later found out that the hotel actually has three breakfast locations. If they were going to clear up early at this particular location, the staff should have proactively informed guests that they could continue eating at other restaurants, instead of letting us make a wasted trip. I hope the hotel can improve its service and communication to match the quality expected at this price point.

While the hotel's location is a bit out of the way, getting a taxi was quite easy. The air conditioning in the room had issues and wasn't fully fixed even after we reported it. The rooftop infinity pool is definitely the hotel's best feature. Breakfast was decent.

The hotel is large and beautiful, with good rooms, decent food, and polite staff. Downsides: very poor air conditioning in the hotel itself (not in the rooms). It was impossible to stay on the 2nd floor, at reception, during the day; sweat was pouring down. There's a lack of customer focus. This seems to be an issue with new hotels and inexperienced staff, but I believe it's something that can be improved over time.
