Completely unaware of how they get away with calling this hotel a 4 star upscale hotel. The decor and facilities may of been of a 4 star hotel 20 years ago but thats not the case anymore. The bathroom is dated and includes a tiny shower, a shower head full of limescale and hairs in the shower. The shelf that holds the toiletries in the shower isn't screwed on well and topples repeatedly. The room itself is again incredibly dated. The technology used (hairdryer, TV, key access system etc.) is decrepit. Our AC settings are decided by the hotel and when you request to change the settings, you're met with attitude by the reception staff. Instead of dealing with the attitude we tried using their spare blankets but we found used plasters on them and decided to go without. The beds are uncomfortable and so, coupled with the other problems, we struggled to sleep most nights. The balcony was a decent size but the drying rack continuously fell off the wall. The location is a small walk to the beach but the town centre is a good 40 minutes.

A 3-star hotel near the beach
The hotel is described as a hotel in luxury style but it is more a good 3-star hotel. The location is very good closes to the beach and free parking is offered. The cleaning is very good and it smells clean in corridors and rooms. The breakfast is OK but the dining room is a bit noisy. I think if you are looking for a middleclass hotel close to the beach this is good but if you are looking for something more upmarket you will be disappointed

Great hotel, staff couldn’t have done enough to help us. Hotel clean, pool immaculate, gardens lovely and well kept. 2 minute walk to the beach, and lovely pizzeria next door which was very reasonably priced. We wouldn’t hesitate to go back

The male waiters were rude and arrogant. The dinner was bad, but the breakfast was good. The shower was switching from hot to cold in a second you had to be careful not to be burned. The cleaning of the bath room needs improvement.
Unfortunately we had next to the hotel a big dog barking during nighttime. Not a pleasant stay.

The hotel and grounds are all very clean and well maintained. Rooms are clean and functional. For some reason you need to have your default aircon temperature set at reception. Shower could be much better as flow is quite weak and shower head needed replacement. Breakfast was varied and plentiful - we didn’t eat other meals there. The pool is well maintained, but there needs to be more parasols. The bar service leaves much to be desired. To get a drink when sitting around the pool you need to ask the life guard to go in and make it for you. The upshot is that no-one was asking for a drink. There needs to be a dedicated pool waiter who gets orders and makes drinks - you could make an absolute fortune in doing so. This service could continue into the early evening as it was lovely to order from the bar and sit in the many seating areas outside the hotel. Some of the seating is showing wear however and the base of the seat is broken.

Just b aware that if u ask 4 seaview there is a dog that lives in a cage on the property and barks all day long I believe the owner of dog works at hotel, but does nothing about the barking!!! Beautiful property, but didnt enjoy waking up 2 the barking every morning....
